  1. The torsional isolator in the snout is spring loaded to take some of the "abuse" off the rotor bearings during quick transitions. If you have a mis (or a large cam), the isolator will tend to "bottom out" or compress this spring to the max resulting in a clunking sound.

Agreed. The tune my friend is absolutely critical. My guess is you were running lean, caused some strong dettonation and cracked off a ring land. You are lucky the piston didn't fall apart causing the rod to punch a hole in the block. With your modifications, you are getting very close to needing larger injectors. I highly suggest a set of dekka 60's.

Hey Krambo are the specs for the dekka 60,s readily available? im looking to upgrade from the maggie 42lb to some 60,s

i have the mini plug and play 60,s from five-o-motorsports but when i had them in i couldnt get the fueling at idle nailed down.

  2. I would say depends on your goals for truck, I dont think a 112 by itself can overpower factory pistons if the tune is correct. Im running the same thing with a 3.0 pulley about 7lbs with a gt2-3 19 degees of timing no knock but i do spray some meth. But you cant go wrong with a nice set of aftermarket pistons either.

  3. Looking to sell my 112 maggie which comes compleat minus fuel pump. Also included is 3.4 3.2 3.0 pulleys labonte motorsports meth kit, 90mm throttle and j-tube along with stock 78mm j-tube, triple a pillar pod, aem wideband, boost &fuel psi gauges, also have Dr-x harnes for throttle. everything just came off truck monday will get some pics up very soon.

  4. looking to get rid of my 112 maggie,3.4, 3.2, 3.0 pulleys meth kit "labonte motorsports" triple gauge piller, aem wideband, autometer fuel psi, autometer boost. will post pics when off truck ,will be starting to remove this stuff tonight. $3800 plus shipping. SOLD!

  5. yea its me, i just need a x-link and i will have everything to do the swap, i was wondering what kinds of gains

people see with this mod. i had this blower on my 04 rcsb 5.3 and it seemed to run better on that truck. Seems to me

that the lq9 needs more lungs, granted im only running a 3.0 pulley right now.
