anyone got pics of a SS with a axle flip?
soldadoblanco replied to K.Brown Customs's topic in Suspension & Brakes
If your trying to go that low your best Bet is to get a drop kit like djm or mcgaughy...I have a djm drop on mine it's 5/7 lower an upper control arms up front a cnotch flip kit and shackles I believe. I have 22 inch reps with 285/35 tire on the rear and i had roll the rear fender lips to not eat up my tires -
Yea cool guy...great to deal with picked up a few parts from him as we'll and by far his truck has to be my favorite blue ss I've seen

Summit racing brand ls block
soldadoblanco replied to soldadoblanco's topic in Engine Tech And Modification
Thanks for the info Shawn I'm really interested in the block and having as a project to build up at my own pace since it is my daily driver...so pretty much block for block it should be exactly the same as a factory block correct? Would a 408 be the biggest stroke I would be able to use on the block?? -
So I got my summit magazine and in the ls section they have an ls block for sale telling by the bore I'm assuming its a 6.0 just wondering if this would be a good starting block for my 2 door clone or am I better off buying a used lq4 or lq9. I'm thinking of building a stroked fi engine down the road...just wondering if any one has any experience positive or negative with this kinda of block thanks in advance Here's the link http://m.summitracing.com/parts/sum-150105/overview/

I have a reproduction wing as well got it from a member that bought it from the guy in rgv. I'm really happy with it took a lil sanding to get it to fit just right but looks awesome and I can't tell the difference between the oem wing other than the oem has mounting holes on the front an rear of the wing

Damn that's pretty damn good gas mileage regardless of the extra $$$ that's normal maintenance in my book It would definitely look good on a 4/6 what kind of drop you thinking about going with?? On my clone I got the 5/7 djm kit and I have 285/35/22 on the rear with no problem after I rolled the fenders
