Yeah dude I agree cuz the girl was texting late at night someone, acting suspicious, then it was gone. She acted guilty when I asked for help to file police report, drive me to station. She refused. I never spoke to her again.

I live in Sherman Oaks and had parked it in downtown on 6th and Hill St. in the jewelry district at about 12am to visit one of my sanchas at the time. Came back out few hours later and gone.
It was found on Hooper and 56th in South L.A. ghetto town. LAPD was called after it ended up in a guy's living room. Whoever dumped it let it roll in gear and knocked down the homeowner's fence into his living room LOL. The homeowner filed a hit and run on me which turned into a warrant which I was eventually cleared of cuz I wasn't driving and had police report etc of theft. Best part was when my insurance denied their claim and they came to my house to collect. 4 cholos, the dad, few kids all in a van and waiting in my driveway when I came home from work one Sat. I just rigth past my house in my DD Caprice. they had no idea who I was. Called the detective on my case and he dispatched 4 ubits to my house code 3. Since my registartion and insurance were also stolen out of glove box with home address I thought my house was getting hit next, not stereotyping. LAPD officers warned them not to return or be arrested and charged with trespassing. Nothing else ever came of it, no small claims lawsuit or anything. Homeowner should of had homeowner's insurance in 1st place which he didn't.
damn that is some trippy shit!! sounds like a ****en headache!! idk what id do if something like this ever happened to me!! but who knows maybe those cholos planed the whole thing stole it and let it roll in to there house tooo or maybe even sancha lol...glad to hear you were cleared of any wrong doing.

yea thats a great deal i just picked up all my bed cladding and rear bumper a while ago for about 5 bills but they were used and by no means flawless but still a great deal imo since its got to get painted anyway but im looking for the cab corners to finish off the cladding on my clone...glws some one should jump on the deal pretty quick...any chance you have any air duts??

Which bushings are good?
what can i do to rid the squeeking?? feel like its gotten worse now idk maybe in my head though but how can i fix it

correct poly can be noisy and greased often.
the other thing that comes to mind is that the a arm bushings are over tightened , iirc its a strict 35 ft lbs . more than that will not let them travel up and down without killing the bushing and binding up . applying a good amount of grease on them on install as well is something that is good practice.
on a side not wtf did norcal get banned for?
yea i did the install with some help and i greased everything up so i know it was plenty...but then how often would regreasing be recommended?? recently did alignment and everything looked greased properly.....

When mine makes noise, its on a flat surface but is more noticeable when I go over a bump. Seems likes when the suspension travels is when it squeeks
yea i think when the suspension travels is when i hear the most squeeking as well I origanlly thought it was from my bed

The guy that dropped the truck thinks it's the sway bar bushing.
i wouldnt think its the bushing though...when i installed the sway bar i lubed up the bushing pretty good maybe its time to re grease everything idk....yea not a good thing but good to know that im not the only one either my hair was starting to turn white

i was told 700 gets it done i dunno if thats too littlte or too much
it will definately be cheaper for you to take it out your self and take to get redone in suede...i took mine down on my own but i have a 2 door with no sun roof so it was pretty easy just took down overhead console and light out and just pulled it down...since i took it down my self i only payed $30 instead of $60 but chances are youll pay more unless you know the shop owner or something like that.

Too much red for me...if I was gonna spend money like this guy did with these shops who did the interior n paint job,it would of been something more impressive. Paint job looks bad ass but needs sum white on the wheels.
truck looks nice in white but the interior is ****en retarded!! it looks like hes trying to make it look like the 454 ss burgandy interior from the 90's which was ugly then and still is today

its alot of work but definetly not impossible alot of parts are interchangeable all the front end could easily be swapped with new lights grille hood and fender from 06 same can be said for interior there might be some minor wiring on the inside but not impossible 2001 models did come with power heated seats so he could of just swapped in intimdator head rest being that the chevy inetrior color was the same for like 8 years dash trim should swap right in...over all a nicely done clone in my opinion that must of cost a killing but not bad at all
