Interesting. Im gonna run that by my tuner and see what he says. The original trans was fine from 60k up until 92k with a tune and I think line pressure was slighlty increased. But thanks for the input guys. It all helps

Im getting to the point where im gonna have my trans refreshed and either sell my truck or buy a complete l92/6l80e drop out with harness etc and swap. Has anyone performed the swap?

I got a p0894 code and the fluid is dirty. Its a Protorque converter. Im gonna drop it off at the shop that did the rebuild and see what they say. I was wondering if it was something common. My tci converter did the same thing then blew up

Hey guys, if im driving my truck 57mph or slower, it surges as if the converter is locking then unlocking. Sometimes it has these fits at a faster speed and bumps up and down. Slipping component code was throw. It happened with my stock transmission now 20k into my rebuilt one its happenening. Im getting fed up and ready to give up on this truck

my buddy just picked up a 2014 tundra and wants to get in some runs. I have a feeling his truck is gonna take me out. all I have is a intake, muffler delete and dyno tune. stock spec protorque converter and built 4l65. im not backing down win or lose. post opinions and ill hopefully get this run in soon.

I cant be wasting time with unmotivated sellers. hopefully shes back on the road soon towing and terrorizing 14 second imports and mustangs. thanks for all you guys input!

2500 the only reason I say that is the trans brand new is 2295 + a 550 core charge. That's what he texted me!

my stock trans lasted till 91k. lots of spirited driving and tons of towing. bought a transmission off ebay rated for 500 hp.. lasted 1300 miles... in the process of either getting my original rebuilt or seeing if I can get a 4l80e swap going

i did a muffler delete on my stock factory exhaust. its loud and cost me $62 in 3'' stainless in my stock muffler location

The Denali was Awd. His rear started shimme'ing like it was gonna break traction. The 6.2 is a beast. I'll see if I can catch him from a slow roll. The 3.73's make my truck fall on its face every shift. Maybe smaller rim tire combo to offset my gear is worth a try... but doubt it will change the outcome of the Denali winning. A 6.2 2wd sierra put down 375rwhp in stock form on the same Dyno I got my tune and numbers from... P.s... I like burn outs, donuts, sliding.... Awd is not an option for me.

guy from the neighborhood has a 2010 yukon denali. regular size. full cat back exhaust, k&n drop in, 93 octane programmer tune. we cathc a light the other day and he smirks and says, lets see what happens. i said ok. light goes green. i lay into it steady... hit the white line and lost traction. he pulled right from the get-go. i stayed in it til i buried my speedo. he was atleast 5 lengths ahead. his hardest pulling point was between 50-90mph, then it went to less of a pull...... key word being less, but him still pulling! .... im starting to wish i bought something with a 6.2... or maybe i'll daily drive my camaro for moments like these....
