  1. *Update* Just wanted to let you guys know you were correct the 2power band and 3/4 clutch was toast. Everything else was in good shape. Cost me 765.00 to have fixed. Seems pretty high priced but glad it's fixed!
  2. Well worst news possible I was afraid I would be told that. Truck has less then 80k miles. I rarely drive the truck outside of normal this just doesn't make sense. No clue where to even start now. Guess the truck will be parked in my shop till I have the money to get it loomed at. Thanks guys.
  3. Sorry let me try and re explain. When driving the truck it doesn't shift from 1st to second unless I let off the gas or drive at a creep. then now it will do about the same to get into 3rd but its seems to not shift any further than third in normal automatic driving. It wont shift into 4th, 5th. I've tried to go through the manual shifting on the column and the gears won't shift at all. they all seem like first gear. Its just weird the only issue is it won't shift nothing else seems wrong no check engine no noise , no slamming of the transmission or slipping or anything out of the ordinary. I hope this explanation makes more sense. And I will pull fuses first thing in the morning. And if I'm still not making sense I'll get a video tomorrow to show what I mean. Thanks for your help.
  4. About 2 months ago noticed my truck would not shift into second gear unless I let off the gas. Or drove extremely slow this it would shift normal from there as long as I didn't get on it to cause it to down shift then not shift up just red line if I stayed on it. (Hope this makes sense). I have not had time to mess with it is why the wait and now more problems.......This morning on the way to work same thing then I noticed the transmission won't shift up from third from what I can tell. Nothing seems rough, no noise, beside not shifting when it should all seems fine. I think the transmission fluid level is good. Probably wouldn't hurt to get a flush. No check engine lights or anything. I am going to see if I can find a place to plug in a diagnostics. My info below shows all things done to the truck. Please folks any help would be appreciated!

    Exhaust Build!

Exhaust build complete! After all the hard work it has 110% paid off! I absolutely love the exhaust from Zach that he sold to me! The Pacesetters were a nice touch too! Zippy tune just topped it off. I could not be happier with what I have and have done! I mostly just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the help mostly Zachm89 for the setup and the help along the way! Thanks to zippy for the great tune with no problems. I will try and get a sound clip posted of the new exhaust asap. The truck needs a bath after sitting for a bit after that I will try and get one up. 1 problem now lol I cant stay off the GAS!!!!! Just loving that sound and the new added power with everything added. Thanks again everyone!
  6. No cats for me. I know a few shops that don't check. When you makethe order us the coupon code "LOYALTY". I just googled couon codes for that site and found it and it worked for me!
  7. My experience after long search. If you like PACESETTER go to www.AUTOANYTHING.com. I got free shipping and I think out the door for 365.00 had them in no time even though it said it would take a couple weeks. I also used the LOYALTY coupon code. thats how I get them at the price I did. Fast shipping very pleased. Would buy them again. Mounted up just fine just waiting on my computer to come in the mail to crank her up. I found no place even close to 365.00 shipped no tax. http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts-mufflers/61A2836A0A0A2600358.aspx Also so no confusion I got the more expensive Armor Coated ones not the cheap set that is not.
  8. Headers on, Exhaust on, K&N 77 Series on...now the dreadful wait for the PCM return....I am so ready to crank this truck on. I think I may have her in by wed. Cant wait!!!!!

  9. Alright I have everything removed started yesterday stopped before dark and finished pulling stuff this morning. Two problems along the way 1 plug wire and 1 huge problem broke a manifold bolt flush on the head. Oh and to top it off its the worst one I could have broken! Rear driverside. I have a right angle drill and its still to big to get in there to try and bring it out. I have searched and found pretty much a few options but not many and lots of folks not having much easy luck with this problem. Has anyone seen this? http://www.amazon.com/Tight-Fit-Drill-Screwdriver-Attachment/dp/B0039Q1FH4 Would it have enough power to drill and pull out the bolt? It is broke just a little tiny bit inside the head almost flush. Surely it wouldnt be worth the risk moving along and doing without that last bolt would it? I am almost thinking to go ahead and bolt it all up and take it into a shop might be cheaper then spending $40.00 on that attachment and not having any luck with it or risk making it worst. Ill keep searching doubt I will find any more info from what I found last night. Wish it had a little bit sticking out to maybe weld a nut on and then back it out that way sure does look fairly simple.
  10. I think it will work to be sure u can search magnaflows site and match part numbers to ur specific truck. Als when I was looking search ebay by part number and u will or can save 200.00 easy. I didn't end up getting them myself but I did look.
  11. Thanks guys for the additional info! And the laugh, good stuff! lol I may attempt starting tonight if not for sure tomorrow night and see how things go with it.
  12. Hell ya man that deffinately helps! Since I am doing this myself Im getting the clamps now and the plug for the pipe we talked about, I will save a little bit of money. When looking at the clamps I'm gettign I noticed the MSD 8.5 Plugs, are they worth the money? If it is worth it, is it a must to get a new round of plugs as well? I just figured if I'm removing the old one's and if the MSD were worth it why not. They are red too! lol. I think you pretty much broke everything down for me. I think there was just one thing on one of the headers that sticks out off one of the pipes that I dont think is on the factory manifold and wasnt sure what needed to be done with that. I think there is a gasket and a cover peice for like if it wont be needed/used. From what seen maybe somethign for EGR? Well thanks again for the help it has been real nice! I am ready for sat night and sun to start getting into this.
  13. Back from the Exhaust shop. Now they don't want to do my header job. LOL They did point me in the direction of another shop however his header charge is $150 just for the headers so I am thinking now I must do her myself. I'm deff up for the job no question about that but have never done it so my question to my fellows here all I really need to know is the header bolts how tight or I guess what is the torque setting for them? removing everything shouldn't be a problem and once I have the headers in I should be rolling from there. I have looked into how-to's on this without much luck no video no big details just came across guys with slight complications asking questions. So again as usual any help would be great I guess I will start tearing her down this weekend.
