well i tried what you guys said and turns out still didnt work. So i am asuming as Blown346 said its garabage and time to get a screen then. The cd's are the least of my worries they were just burnt one's so no biggie on that part its just now i have to buy a decent screen thats gonna cost a few hundred or so! Thanks for the help though

As the title says somthing is wrong with my factory stereo. Last night i was putting in some HID lights and to install them i had to take the battery out and mount all the hardware. Well once i was done i i hooked everything back up. Turned the truck on and everything worked fine but then when i took it out for a little drive to see how everything worked i noticed that the radio wouldnt let me play a cd. I had 6 cd's in the player before i started my project when i was done it told me i had no cd's but wouldnt let me put one in. I have no clue what could be the problem beside it has just gone to crap. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone know the sound quality is good by using that, or would it be better to get a screen and just get the i pod cable that goes with the screen?

I am wanting some advice from everybody about nitrous. Dont really know that much about nitrous i just no the kit im looking at says it can up the hp 75- to 125. I just basically want to know if there is any mod's that i absoutly have to have before i get this kit and if so what are they and if there isnt is this something that i should do or not? All i have on my truck is intake and hopefully soon getting a corsa sport. I am trying to find a exhaust that sounds good. I would like for it to have a nice rumble to it but not so loud that u can hear it a block or so away. i was wanting something along the lines of good quality but for a decent price not to expensive and not so cheap that when i get it, it is already up. Thanks for the help

alright sweet and also when u did that grill did u take it off and sand it a little with fine grit sand paper or u just start off with cleaning it and then priming it?

looks good man. i just got a SSS a bout 2 weeks ago and so far i have just painted the bowtie black. I want to paint that grill black but i need to no the best way to do it without all the paint chipping off and also how much if u dont mind did it cost to get ur wheels powder coated im looking into doing that also.

I noticed that on the stock head unit in my truck that it has a AUX button. I was wondering if i could hook up a AUX cord to plug in my i pod to, before i took the stereo out. If i have to get a new head unit then i dont wanna mess with it..

Its all stock a retired firefighter sold it and he said he just used it as a truck to drive down to his lake house. It was always garage kept so its still in perfect condition. I will have some pic's soon its raining and nasty out today so prolly tomorrow.
