  1. I just got my back left bed cladding from SAE auto parts. The sell all the cladding pieces individually on their site. And they were by far the best priced. Just thought I would let you know.

  2. The same exact thing happened to me but I put a 3' catback true duel straight pipe with an X pipe... So no don't do that. Keep the 2 1/2 and look up some single or double panel mufflers. That should get you the little bit of back pressure you will need. I think magnaflow has a 10 series that are single panel.

  3. The gto is for sure the best bang for your buck its got looks, speed, and comfort. My roommate has an 05 gto and I love it. He payed 13 for it and it had 65k miles. It hauls ass bro.

STI are still a little expensive right now, both evo and sti market was down for a while, you used to be able to get 2005 with 50k for like 15k and now the market is back up on them. Same happened to the svt cobra market. Right now it`s pretty much camaro ss vs WS6 vs LS2 GTO, anything else I should add?

  4. Nah I'm just kidding. But ya we ran into that problem and he somehow manually unlocked it. So it works with the ignition switch.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound that way. There's one thing I'm not sure about and that is if the gear lever is electronically unlocked or if it's manual (with key turn) like the older models, I suspect it's electronic. Can you pull it out of park without the key in it or the ignition toggle switch on?

  5. Rub it in why don't you!!

If you did it through the viper all you had to do was rig up a momentary push button and hook it into the turbo timer input, then set run time to infinite on the viper. Disable the brake shutdown and the gear lever locking. I could of done the same thing you did with 3 relays, a toggle switch, momentary push button, and a pack of assorted resistors for around 40 bucks.

  6. Yeah that makes sense but if they remove the fuse, it won't start because the start button is bypassed with the remote start in the viper. Trust me, I did a lot of research before I did this.

Seems like a good idea in theory but it practice it really isnt. I have a Viper 5901 installed on my SS and one day the damn thing wouldnt crank. tried jumping it, hitting the starter and nothing. turns out it was just the starter kill built into the viper malfunctioning. Pulled the pannel under the steering wheel off and pulled the fuse for the viper and the truck started. So basically what Im trying to say is someone could pull that fuse in a minute and just hit the button and go,. no more starter kill. I would try to figure out another safety measure in there...

turn the truck around in the spot, park a few spots over move to neighboring parking lot .... good for a few laughs

  7. no its not that easy. I have a viper alarm on the truck and its used through that. Without the remote you can't start the truck. And if you don't do it right it won't start either.

so you just flip the switch and hit the button? Thats a car thieves dream! lol

I feel like you just made yourself very vulnerable to a prank if you ever go to any kind of sss.com meet up
