  1. Most people just go lows, I have both highs and lows. When you flick the switch to highs it takes them a while to warm up. Also, you can't flash your highs with hids. It's also a great idea to do the four high mod with hids to keep them from constantly switching on and off, when you go from low to high and back.

  2. Pop off the fuse box cover under the hood, and somewhere along the top you'll notice a fuse has been replaced with a red plastic cap that says something to the tune of "B+". You'll need to remove that cap and put a fuse in its place. Here's a pic, see it in the top left corner? It's supposed to be a 40 amp fuse.

  3. I dought it will be the batt though because it has enough power to crank the starter

Agreed. Next time you try to start it cold, switch the key on and leave it for five seconds, do that three times to let the fuel pump prime and see if it starts on the first try then. Could be a leaky injector, also you have to leave the vacuum hose off the regulator for around 2-3+ minutes to see if fuel is coming out.

  4. Well, it's not the fact he put the badges on it, it's the fact he said "well since its have the body kit and all the other modifications its an ss" that I don't agree with. Matter of fact if you watch this vid I made a long while back, you'll see I had SS stickers on mine at one point, so I can't possbily be mad about that if I've done i before, myself.

  5. I'm sorry, I didn't realize that my personal opinion was going to be received so negatively or that I wasn't entitled to it. The fact that I take offense to this guy taking his 2011 Z71 and throwing an SS on the tailgate and then claiming to own an SSS bothers me. I simply thought that as SSS owners and enthusiasts here on this site there would be more people on my side so that every Silverado we see does not wind up with SS stamped all over it. Are they not supposed to be rare in comparison to the rest of the Silverados? I've stated previously that the truck looks great, and he can modify it however and as much as he wants but that does not change the fact that it IS NOT an SSS.

I agree 100% as I'm sure we all do, but it is his truck and I don't wanna start anything. Putting SS badges on it is one thing, calling it an SS because of some bumper covers is another...

  6. mine is not a 427 did i tell you that ? i customize the vehicle with body kit, lowering kit, hedares , exhaust system and i put the ss on the car ? is there is any thing wrong with that?

Where over here putting SS on a car is frowned upon, for the most part. But hey, mine has v-max badge and it's not v-max, so...

  7. yeah thanks im still woring on the car ill take out the z71 and need 20 inch wheels.

the 427 is a concept release.

Good deal, I might be wrong, but I don't think it was a GM concept. And like I've always said, colormatch and debadge before rebadging.

  8. You will have to hook the green on the gm dlpk to the negative door trigger input of the viper, other than that, it's pretty much the same way he did it. Here's the diagram of how the dlpk should be hooked up, you don't need the tach hooked up unless you program to use the tach signal.
