  1. Man, that is one nice truck! I'm damn tempted to think about the trade lol If only I needed the heavier truck for work just a little bit more than I do. Good luck with the sale/trade though, she's a beast of beauty
  2. haha, that is some extremely good editing! Great video
  3. Weapons Instructor Pistol/Carbine/Shotgun/Long Rifle & various hand to hand self defense weapons such as knife/ku-baton/night stick etc Also do hardwood flooring whenever I'm needed, have been doing that for 5 years now off and on.
  4. In no particular order: Tint Windows Headers E-Fans Thermometer Maybe a nice new gps/dvd head unit Hardcover Tonneau
  5. Looks like it's about 1hr from me/50 miles. Will definitely give it a shot, it's too early to make any definite though. Should be a good time though!
  6. Would need the exact address, if it's not too far I might be able to make it Edit: Is this the place? http://bungstavern.net/ In Burlington?
  7. Exxon or Sunoco 93 here. Every now and then if I have to I'll get 92 at WaWa (highest they have)
  8. How is the quality on these hoods? Anyone know for sure?
  9. You could count me in for at least one, I like the Silverado SS over just "SS" as well.
  10. Got my hat on... I think it was Thursday. Looks great, very happy with the results! Thanks a lot for putting these together for us Shawn! Joe

    Got Stung

40 bucks for 87mph, damn, must be nice :x I had to pay 130$ for 5mph over and i wouldn't have gotten the ticket in the first place if my boss put the new insurance cards into the truck to begin with! Cop said I had to go to court with the insurance card and "had" to give me the speeding ticket instead of, ya know, just letting me go with a warning like he said he was going to in the first place. Mother thumper. Ended up being a 20$ ticket for 5over but there was 110$ in court fees. Talk about some bullcrap :/ And this was in a work truck, not the SS lol
  13. Definitely count me in for 1 black one, medium to large size. Probably large, I have a fat head lol
  14. Last try, any suggestions where else these might sell? Craigslist hasn't gotten any results either.
  15. EVO here with EVOlved ROM. Tried a few different ones like miui/cyanogen/etc but the one I'm on is by far the best. It hasn't been ported to any other phones though. Apparently some 14yr old kid developed it which is pretty impressive to me ;) Definitely will never go back to a "stock" phone now that I've found out how much fun mod'ing the phone is ;) And it runs MUCH better.
  16. A few typos it looks like. Auto while it's actually a manual, says its a Z28 but its got full SS badges Beautiful car though, just another thing to make you wish you were rich, but if that were the case i'd drive around one of the new 2012 camaros ;)
  17. We need to get some of these made except for our SSS !

    Hmmm

I think this might be my next purchase, it's so cheap, only $40k! http://www.amerspeed.com/cgi-bin/showengines.cgi?EngineTypeID=52 6.8L LS Ultimate Supercharged Engine 1000 hp @6300 rpm, 940 ft. lbs. torque @4500 rpm, 3.3L supercharger. 8.4 compression, dry or wet sump, LSX iron block, fuel inejcted, intercooled, turnkey What do ya think ;)
  19. It'll just be like if your fuel pump stops working. It might start for a minute and blow off any gas/fumes still in the system but then you simply won't be able to start it. It'll turn over and such but with no fuel delivery there's no way the engine can run so thieves would have to A) know the fuse is missing and just happen to have one or B) tow it off lol EDIT: This is just my personal experience with fuel pumps and pulling fuse etc, never had any trouble. As far as actual long term side effects you'd have to ask an actual mechanic.
  20. Was thinking of keeping these around for the "just in case" scenario but really they're just taking up a lot of room. So, in hopes of offsetting the cost of the upgrades (and maybe providing cash for more!) I have these for sale. I'm asking maybe $50'ish for the intake and somewhere around $300-$400 for the exhaust. Both have 30k miles on them and almost all of that was highway use. The exhaust is complete. I took it off my truck as one big piece so I'd prefer local pickup (Townsend, Delaware) but I will cut it up and ship it at buyers expense. I can provide pictures if requested but it'll take a while since they're both sitting in my brothers garage, much to his dismay lol Thanks, Joe
  21. 300-400'ish. Only trouble is I took it off my truck as one big piece. If it were to be shipped it would have to be cut up. I'm trying to find a local buyer but so far no interest, so, shipping will be at buyers expense, I'm sure it won't be cheap :x Joe
  22. Met up with and got tuned by forum member, Kevin, aka "Krambo" today. To start, he was extremely accommodating and informative to all of my questions and inquiries into pricing/how it all works/when he'd be available. After we agreed on a time frame he was, again, extremely accommodating to make time for me and get it done. Very cordial, nice guy, fun to hang out with and definitely someone you could buy a beer for. During the tune he was very knowledgeable and explained more or less the entire tuning process to me also giving me little tips here and there on random SSS stuff. As for actual results: I drove home from his house about 100 miles. I averaged 16.7 mpg, this was with about 15 miles of back winding roads, a little bit of stop & go traffic for maybe 5-10 miles at most and then pretty solid 75-80mph cruise control for the remainder. I've been averaging 14.5 overall so we'll see what the difference is longterm. Other than the mileage the throttle response was night and day and I actually laughed out loud because it literally startled me on the first stopped WOT after I left his house. After I get a larger sample than the ~100miles home I'll see if I can post more updates on the performance differences. All in all it was a great experience from the forum, to his house, back home. Would absolutely recommend to anyone! Joe
