  2. Payment sent! I'm stoked, they look SSWWEEET!
  3. Don't forget to "hashtag" or "#" this is how you label your photo so that other people can find your photo. So in your comments you type #intimidatorss #silveradoss.. every person that labeled a photo with that hashtag can see your photo. Btw you'll see ppl put a multitude of hastags that just broadens the catagory field. A_Furey
  4. I would consider it too if BSER would post that he's gonna try and make the mold again. he hasnt even signed on since August 8th.

  7. welcome! i also made the transision from a 4.8 to the Big 6.0... theres no comparison. even stock is boatloads more fun. grats on your new SSS!
  8. I used large velcrow strips. just besure to ground the amp housing, and remember your Amp ground should be a very short distance. I also had an issue with the hinge of the seat hitting my amp when the seat was in the up posison, so be sure you test fit it before mounting. i couldnt see pics on the write up before, but if you look at the metal catch on the back of the seat you'll see wear marks. just cut it with a sawzall at the lowest point keeping more of the catch on the back of the seat. your better off cutting not enough then too much. also forgot to mention the back of the rear seat never folds completely down. just enoughto see/work back there.
  9. I suppose it really depends on how much traveling you do on a daily basis. The Garmin Nuvi is the one i use for work and i travel up and down the east coast. Very rarely does it lose a signal or bring me to a completely wrong location. A fair amount of the time it will say i am at my location when its down the street. Only a hand full of the time it doesn't recognize the location. Usually when i punch in the address without the town it shows the location in a different town. I bought one for my wife last year and spent about 200 on a good quality Garmin Nuvi. The only deference between the crappy one in my work van and the one i bought my wife is a larger screen. You can also download different voices like Stewie from family guy or Christopher Walkins, and map characters, like Rudolph or an Ice Cream truck. My wife thinks its fun. All in all I'm fully satisfied. I believe for a small fee (50$) you can have unlimited map updates. I haven't updated the maps in my work one in over 3 years and I rarely have issues. The only pain in the ass is if you think your location is in a specific town and it doesn't show it it may because it is registered in the Garmin as a different town.
  10. thanks for the great input guys! i believe it is a roots based with the intercoolers on the skirt. Average price I've found is around 7k for the kit. not bad since a magnuson kit is around 6k. Does anyone know if the tuner provided is just a flash, or will it learn for other mods? i.e LT's, 160°stat?
  11. http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_new/mc/superchargers/gm-truck/ My local speed shop, injection connection, strongly recommended this. Has anyone installed this or considering it? I know its a new product but Edelbrock is usually makes a great product.
  12. http://www.gmhightechperformance.com/tech/lsx_engine/0909gmhtp_408_lq9_budget_engine_build/viewall.html I read this the otherday. It may pertain to what your looking for. On the last page there is a part list. Hopefully it provides some help.
  13. If anyone has seen pics of my rims then you know im in desperate need of new wheels. These are the choices that i perfer, so far, and would appriciate some of your suggestions. Thanks! If you have a suggestion let me know! pics of the above choices.
  14. I read that GM deliberately put drums back in the rear because of poor stopping performance of the disk breaks. Aside from esthetics, is it worth converting the rears? Clearly I would see noticeable gains from a big break system from Wilwood or Baer, but what about a lesser priced SSBC system, or summit's conversion with 3 or less pistons? As always thanks for your input. conversion... stupid auto correcting my inability to spell
  15. Stupid tree semen .... Nice ride!
  16. From what I understand, the cost to get them stripped n redipped is pretty much the cost for new rims. Unless you know a guy of course.. Like I said, I know they are in bad shape. It doesn't hurt to ask, right? Let me know if you want other pics or if you want pics with them off. Driver rear passenger rear this is the only rim with a bit of curbrash front passenger new tires in April.. this is NOT my DD. front driver
  17. No need, it was still a deal. Just a miscommunication. I should have inquired.
  18. I would trade you my stock chrome 20's( the center caps are aftermarket) but my chrome is peeling on the inner lip of 3 of the rims.. pretty much paper weights now.. they do have 95% tread left on the tires though. OEM tires. I can take pics if your at all interested.
  19. I received the R/C. It does not appear as new in the box as you had stated. The box looks as if it has been opened and the truck used. Small pieces of scotch tape were holding one of the sides closed and there were a few scuffs found along the body of the truck. I put pictures below to share with you. I paid $40 more for the "New" truck in the box with the belief that the truck was never opened or used. This box seems in questionable shape for a "collectable". I share the same passion for these trucks as you and feel a bit disappointed in the overall condition of my purchase. I just wish you were a bit clearer about using the word "new". Regardless, I am happy to have it, but needed to share this info.
  20. Of course i built up all this anticipation to come out and meet you guys, my wifes car is running rough and she has a meeting she has to attend.. is it wrong for her to take a cab.... j/k. Anyways I wont be making it out this time.. sorry.
