  1. Lol!!! Dude, about 80% of clones I see have them on upside down hah I don't know why? I'm starting to think people do it on purpose cause the truck is a "clone" and not a real SS or something hah
  2. With two jobs, college classes, and 25 hours of drumline practice on the weekends, I FINALLY found some time to wash, wax, and detail the SSilverBeast. I've been neglecting this truck for too long. Don't get me wrong, I always make it a point to keep it washed and cleaned out on the inside but it hasn't looked "pristine" in a while!
  3. Just be pateint, someone will have some sooner or later. Those things pop up pretty often on here.
  4. Got my Sweatshirt! It's awesome man!! Thanks a lot!
  5. They charge a $99 shop fee and found the problem in 2 hours...so $200 to plug a computer to my truck and press some buttons hah
  6. You asking about the whole setup? Or the work done buy the stealership? Lol
  7. Definitely fixable....but 48k? That aftermarket chrome better be some real silver or some white gold or something lol
  8. So as some of you might remember, a little over a year ago I installed a full Bose system into my clone. I hooked everything up after about 6-7 hours of labor, took it too a dealer to get the radio unlocked, and found out the radio and everything was working, picking up stations, ect. but no sound was coming through. After a years worth of research, advice, and a lot of trial-and-error, I found out that there was a Bose technician working at a local Chevrolet dealership. After 2 hours he solved my problem. For some reason, my system needed to be programmed for a Suburban. Don't ask me why. And if anyone knows why, please tell cause I'm curious. But anyway, I HAVE MY TUNES BACK!!! I really love the Bose system! Sounds amazing!

  10. On my truck, I had a pulley go out. The bearings on the inside were shot. Every time it started my truck it would squeal and annoy the heck out of me. Start your truck and spray some WD-40 on all the pulleys and see if it stops. Just to make sure it's not the belt.
  11. Yeah it has 177k miles but dang...nice truck for VERY cheap. Thought I'd share for someone looking for a truck. http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?sbk=1&nav=SEARCH&itemId=321228894192
  12. Agreed... I like all the cars you posted. I like anything with a crap-ton of HP lol
  13. Makes me sick to my stomach for me to even think about stuff like that! Hopefully insurance with help you get another.
  14. Don't know if you into drumming at all but since I'm a snare drummer I watch a lot of DCI and WGI drum videos. They are pretty damn cool. Some of these drumming groups are pretty sick! Hah
  15. Yeah that's is true...however, the steering wheel doesn't has all the bells and whistles on it.
  16. http://stockton.craigslist.org/ctd/4100852345.html I ran across this on CL today. I clicked on it cause it said "4-door" in the title so i thought someone had made a crew cab clone. But instead i come to find out its a silverado with an SS exterior but LS interior. My question is, Is this a real SS with the interior stripped out? Or is it a standard silverado with SS exterior parts? if its a real ss, why would someone down-grade the interior? hah What do you guys think?
  17. I ran across this on eBay. Apparently it's some who has made a mold for these cab corners. Pretty awesome if you ask me! Let's just hope they aren't like those eBay ISS spoilers that need a ton of body shop work to get them to fit right! From personal experience, I know that these are the hardest pieces for a clone to come by! So I thought I'd share this with you guys and maybe help someone out! http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?sbk=1&nav=SEARCH&itemId=251339405166
