I was reading through this thread and saw that you clearly know something about flowmaster mufflers that I do not. I just put a flowmaster super 40 series on my truck about 6 months ago and I love it. But does it really have absolutely no horsepower gain whatsoever? And if so, what does Magnaflow have to put these gains on?

Well I've bee thinking of investing in one for a while now, this is making me reconsider all of the horror stories. I might have questions later on as far as cleaning goes if I do get one; but for now, thanks for the info.

On another note, how do you like your K&N intake? I hear horror stories often around the dealership, but on the other hand I get a gear deal of success stories. Also, how often do you clean it?
