  1. If I were you I would test it for power under different lighting conditions: tail/brake/signal/reverse and key off and maybe key on. Might help give you an idea
  2. I crawled under mine. I dont have the stick hitch or 7 pin but all the wiring before the 7 pin is stock and I dont have it. I havent seen that before.
  3. The wire you show is not for trailer brakes. The trailer brake wire is in the 7 pin harness for the trailer package. Your controller plus into the cab. I looked under my truck and that wire you show isn't present
  4. I need the boost. But my options to stay legal are a 112 or Whipple 140. I love these threads. A lot to learn and they are interesting.
  5. Yea, that is the common use here. I just answered the question
  6. With a car manifold, trailblazer ss/gmt-900 truck manifold
  7. Im out unless he can do a GMC emblem
  8. From my reading, these metallic painted ones were not widespread. The guys who run the trucks pretty much had to be sure they would sell. They could only be ordered in a 6 pack. 2-red, 2-blue, 2-purple(???), so not all trucks had them and they could not be ordered separately. The List price new on this is $473, This is as close to new as you will get out of a techs tool box. I bought it on the job, never used it there. I was forced to resign 2 weeks later with health complications. There are some on eBay with more use going for more money. I need to clean it up for nicer pics. It has sat on a shelf for over 2 years with light use. Basically working on my truck and brake jobs on my mom's G6. Im sure someone will want this beautiful beast.
  9. Trundras are available with 4.30 gears so that may be somewhat of an equalizer off the line.
  10. I am abondonng my project I had in mind of making some interior, underhood, and bed lighting. I just want to get rid of what I have. I have 5 ft of white LED strip and over 4 ft of blue LED strip. 9 complete setups of Delphi Weather-Pack connectors, and about 7 each of 2 types of button/switch. I just moved out on my own and dont have to time or excess money to pursue this anymore. The strips are made by Oracle. I would like to get $50 shipped. That is less than I paid for the strips alone
  11. Here is how I did it http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.php?/topic/84293-4-tail-light-mod
  12. There is a write up floating around here. Basically change out the sognal socket for a 3 pin like the tail light and wire pin b of the new socket to pin b of the tail socket
  13. They talked pretty big of it at SEMA. I was looking at their 4 and 8 piston kits and asking questions but they kept trying to push the 3 pistons on me
  14. I am going to get an F1 after I get some other things figured out. It is their flagship model. My truck had a fiberglass snugtop when I bought it. Painted and everything. It was not easy to sell later on. I needed flexibility and ability to use my bed at times. I only was able to get $300 for the snugtop which was probably close to a grand new before paint. I then went to a low pro tool box because I still needed lockable storage.
  15. Bakflip F1 is the way to go
  16. 04+ with a slight mod Both main bulbs used as tail lights
  17. Install one of these and problem solved
  18. Part of why im getting rid of it. I have a bad back so I dont really get to "enjoy" it
