If you fail smog, becomes a massive pain in the dick to get everything right to pass the test. Ran into that with my 6.0 swap and cats.
My truck gets smogged as a 2004 Denali and I had a replacement 5.3 cat installed.

I have tried making a regular but things got in the way for this month. Im thinking june 7th or 14th in the Castaic area. Has an ISS last time. Could use some more 6.0 Love out there

Aaron what was my starting offer for yours? $15. I offer $15 for it

But do you have all the documentation and stickers for emissions? Not sure if I can pull 3 grand out of my ass either
-
Too bad its for an 03 and not an 04. Stupid emissions testing

I dont get all the fuss about making a copy or a print of them. As long as they arent being sold as real limited productions and are sold as copies nothing will happen. Think of how many copies there are of famous actors pictures with there signature being sold?? Way to much thought is going into this.
Ill make a copy for anyone who wants one and list it as a copy, not a real production run. End of story. no harm no foul. I just need a donor.... I will sell them for what it cost to copy and ship. If I ever get a donor I will start a thread to find out who all wants one and go from there.
I think if you want one bad enough, you'll bid a billion dollars on one like i am.
I see your billion and raise you 100 trillion

The 11 year old Silverado SS, back in 2003 when it was spanking new
Now traded in for the New 2014 Silverado LTZ
mixed emotions, I REALLY LIKED my SS, but after 198,707 miles it was starting to show the wear and tear.
Now I have to figure out about 100 settings, voice commands, , get The NAV up and running, Sync the Phone...transfer the ONStar...
see ya over at http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/forum/169-2014-chevrolet-silverado-gmc-sierra-1500/
It's run by Mervz also...
I have authoritah over there. Watch out

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BRAND-NEW-CHEVY-GMC-SUV-TRUCK-KEY-KEYLESS-REMOTE-FOB-LHJ011-Free-Programming-/280911445707?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4167a07ecb&vxp=mtr , Heres the remotes
You must have all remotes including working ones when performing this procedure.1. Close all doors.2. Insert key into the ignition.3. Press and hold the power UNLOCK button on driver's side door panel. Do not release until instructed to do so in step 5.4. Quickly turn the ignition ON, OFF, ON, OFF. (ON is the position just shy of starting your vehicle, OFF is the position where you can remove your key)5. Release the power unlock button on the driver's side door panel. The vehicle should respond by locking and unlocking automatically. If locks cycle then continue to step 6.(if the door locks begin to lock and unlock BEFORE releasing the unlock button then the vehicle has not entered programming mode and you must start over. Remove key, open door and return to step 1. If the vehicle continues to lock and unlock before releasing the unlock button then there is a problem with the vehicles system and remotes must be programmed by a certified professional. If you are unable to get the door locks to cycle then you are turning the key too quick, too slow, there's a problem with the vehicles system, or the vehicle is not equipped with a factory keyless entry system.6. Hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the remote at the same time until door locks cycle again. This could take up to 30 seconds.7. NOW repeat step 6. for all additional remotes including working ones.8. After step 6. has been performed for all remotes TURN ignition to ON to exit programming mode.9. Turn ignition to OFF, remove key and test all remotes.
Programming instructions
and also all 2003 - 2006 silverado(s) SS (HD, 2500, 3500 and 1500) you need the LHJ001 REMOTE
( just got the wrong ones so check

no just a bigger amp alternator and a single battery may do the job just not sure
Gottcha.
I know that CHawkins6789 has a pretty big alt in his truck. Might be worth asking him about hi set-up. I've been tempted to ask him myself but ain't yet.
He isnt ready to unleash the 300 amp beast yet

Nope not yet. I dont think it will be made. At least not in its current design. It wont have the z28 wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, and all the carbon fiber. That is if it is even put into production

I talked to Edelbrock yesterday, but I found out about the e force at the hot rod reunion in October and got more details at SEMA. A member here handed his keys over after I posted the info. I left the track yesterday about 530. I was watching the race from next to the "Quarter Mile Courtyard" on the camping side. I wad in a golf cart.

It is new. Made in 07, but it is the current design and it was still in box. I paid $250 for it
