  1. black bear does live tunes. i actually got the handheld from him and sent him about 20 minutes of me driving. about 7 minutes of normal driving and 13 of me beating the sh!t out of my engine. it turned out well. and whenever i need a slight tweak, like tire size or anything like that, i change a minor part. i email him and he emails me a new tune

  2. well i am disabled vet. yet im 22. i have a lot of free time. i do work but im a personal assistant so it leaves me a lot of free time for projects. ill do the street scene gmc kit and have it for a while. then affter that i have the LQ9 and 4L65E planned. then 3.73. then cladding and rear bumper. then ill do the full silverado conversion last

  3. i did a visit to a GMC dealer trying to sale a 2011 ext cab 2wd 6.2 Sierra SLE as an "SS"

I was asked to vacate the premises. i said no i want to speak to the manager. they told me no. i waited til Okalossa sheriff's arrived, and said it is my right to speak with the manager over false advertising. they told me i have to leave. so i did and called the BBB

  4. well the tint, a heat gun on the outside of the window with your bro peeling the a blade on the inside. and a couple weeks ago i got a 3 tickets at once. speeding. cop said i was doing 84 when i was doing 70. no front plate, and my recon led tail lights are smoked. so he said my reflectors are covered and cant be seen

  5. I was relating to all Chevy's, thank you for that info  Did not know SLP did the second half of the other 2nd gen Camaros.

yea when they decided to bring back the SS in 97 SLP did everything. all performance upgrades, hood, front bumper cover, spoiler, striping, and other things

  6. Just like stated all SS' came factory with the 4L65e. The big dogs have upgraded to the 4L80e tranny which is costly. The paddle shift corvette 4L85e would be something interesting:peelout:

Yup, right after Oshawa the Silverado trucks were then taking by train to another shop for the cladding, badging and all SS related stuff that seperates it from the other Silverado's. I also believe this is the only Super Sport Chevy has made that had a 2nd party do the SS work, someone please correct me if I am wrong but I remember reading about that on here like 5 years back.

if you are relating to all chevys? the SS work on the camaro from 97-02 was done by a 2nd party. they came off the line half complete and were sent to SLP.

  7. Welcome to the site lets see some pics

I am using my tablet right now. I'll post some when I get back to so-cal.

So far I have blacked denali headlights, anzo smoked led parking lights, recon smoked led tails, recon smoked led third brake light, billet grille, silverado ss replica 20's, black tool box, west in bed rail caps, black bear tune, k&n 77 series cold air, flowmaster 40 dumping before the axle, drilled and slotted front rotors and akebono severe duty ceramic pads all the way around

  8. I have an 04 Sierra ext cab 2wd. as it sits, 4.8/4L60E 3.42. Street Scene makes an SS front bumper cover which i will be adding, and later ill do the rear bumper. What tranny and gears were in the SS? Also, i will be dropping in an LQ9 in due time. I have replica SS 20's on it right now. I am a new member i and have always loved the SS but could never get ahold of one. well a decent one. the one i could have had was a salvage title and i didnt want that. but what do you guys think?
