I wish this happened wednesday when i was at the va hospital in santa monica. call me the ambassador of the 661 or kern county/bakersfield/desert/ dc it just gets f-ing hot. ilkl be in when i finish my VHO conversion maybe next year

did the SS's with cloth seats im guessing after 05 have power seats still or maunal

well if i get a JY LQ4 im gonna go thru it to make sure everythings good. and there will be no nitrous later at all. maybe a magnacharger later but most likely not. mostly cam and valve train stuff and tunes

may be cheaper to get a junkyard LQ4 and have it rebuilt with LQ9 pistons

Does anyone know where i can find one? I can find LQ4's out the ass. what is the difference in the 2? i know compression, but is it the heads or pistons?

The brake ducts were never panted from the factory.. the grey color is the actual plastic. Only thing i could tell ya is to pick your own.. i believe the OE wheel color is hyper silver which matches the ducts

i have a body guy, but i am getting him to get my quote together. so i need to color. thanks for the info on the grey. I also need to order a new grille surround from LMC. I'm thinking the work truck one and going to have it sanded and painted to match. Only chrome I want is the rear bumper, wheels, and door molding. also have to figure ou how to wire up a power seat when i have manual seats. and install a fan on the front of my trans cooer if i can find the right thermostat for it to work right. Pro Comp makes a little 7" that will work fine if i got the right wiring setup? Does your SS have E fans? and what Alternator size?

from what i heard the ones LMC sells are nice? while on the subject of hoods though, dpes anyone know if say an 01 Silvy HD hood would fit an 04 1500. i know the sierra's used the same hood on the 1500's 99-07 and the 99-02 silvy hood was the same as the sierras's

Were all Silverado S brake ducts silver? And if not what other colors were available? If yes does anyone know the color code so i can tell the body shop. Im gathering all my info. Here's what I'm installing

is your truck 2wd or 4wd? 14 bolt rear or 10? and disc or drum rear? i want to go to a vortec max rear suspension setup. i cant drop my truck i tow frequently

How small of a tire could I get for my eagle alloy rims? The link is the place I got them, but I'm not sure what sizes I can do, need some help! Forgot to add they are the 20"

Smallest I'd say would be like a 275/30R20 or a 285/30R20
Personally I'd do the 275/35R20 or 285/35R20 depending on your backspacing

what was the 2wd's front suspension? what was the RPO for the suspension anyways? is there a rear sway bar? and can i use a 2500 rear end?

Which model had the 14 bolt rwd or Awd? And will say a 2500 rear end from a junk yard rebuilt with my shafts work? If the rwd was the 14 bolt. I'm going for 05 or 06 clone. I'll decide when I get to the front end.

As it says, I have am 04 sierra. Its a 2wd 4.8. I will be doing a street scene GMC bumper cover that the lowers look like the SS. Then on my list is the LQ9/4L65E. Then I'll do a silverado conversion last. A few questions. Did the 2wd's have coil front suspension? And did they have the 10 bolt or 14? If 14 will any 14 say out of a 2500 with the G80 work if I reuse my current axle shafts? I will be using my current disc brakes.
