  1. Yup I had to grab it. Like you said that setup of his was a killer deal. I am also buying his tranny and flex plate. You're setup is a lot like what I was going to try and do. So I am really curious to see how well you do. And yeah insurance can be a real PiTA. Keep us posted!
  2. Man hope your luck is better this time. I'm curious about track times. And I haven't forgot about your cats. They are still in use. I have been putting everything together for an MP112 so headers and exhaust will be soon.
  3. We've seen it a million times. My only concern would be damaging the badges as you removed them. Other than removing adhesive from where they were there shouldn't be any paint work needed.
  4. I have two extra batteries and a 300 amp alt and when I crank it I still get dimming at full tilt. At least in my dash lights. My headlights don't dim though.
  5. I have had these exact convos. Then told him the specifics and he just laughed and said nice emblems.
  6. So did I miss the post with a price?
  7. Yeah he still has some sets. If you search and find the group buy thread he will respond
  8. Sweet build video. How do they actually sound. You never said if you were happy with the turn out. I am pulling my 18 and going to re-install my seat and do an under the seat box for a pair of 10's or a single 12. Most likely DC or sundown.
  9. Well it's that time of year again in alaska to start looking good. All winter you half ass neglect the cosmetics of your truck. We'll the wait for spring is up and I am itching to get rims back on the SS. Last year I had some U2 55's and I liked them. However the girlfriend has spoke and she wanted them so they are on her Tahoe So that leaves me on stickers and blizzaks. Instead of spending 1k on tires I figure might as well get some new rims. I chose some DUB Push 24's. Very similar to the KMc slides. I will be running 295/35's and the rims are +30mm. I think I will like them. I really like the way slides look on these trucks so I should be happy.
  10. Interested in the Gibbs cluster. Can you pm me shipped price to 99709. And a pic if you have one ready.
  11. ^ I am glad I chose Wheatley. He is my tuner for my current project and I'm glad to read that he is so highly respected by people or a person who knows him.
  12. I just spoke with him a couple weeks ago about tuning my setup and he said yeah. If you need to get a hold of him just shoot him an email.
  13. Haha slides are what I'm looking at getting or these
  14. So the time has come to get new rims since my old 24's don't fit with the drop I put on. So I have been reading through old topics and see that the more offset the more it will tuck? I figured it would be the other way. So the rims I'm looking at are 24x9.5 with a 25mm offset. Then I am also wonder if the 305/35's will tuck. They are approximately an inch and a quarter wider than stock. I know there are a bunch of people running the same drop as me. All input would be appreciated.
  15. Welcome to the site Billy. Are you from anchorage or Fairbanks?
  16. I would love them I need a set but I am in the middle of putting together blower parts and now tires. I have had my eye on this thread but life keeps happening.
  17. If this PCM will work for my 05 I am down. I am getting a retune for a Mp112. I wonder if Wheatley can tune it for my stock Efans
  18. Great battery I have the same one as my second battery under my hood. GLWTS!
  19. My friend was supposed to buy it but ran out of time before he had to go back up to the north slope. I hope for his sake no one else grabs it before he gets back in three weeks.
  20. So I am always looking for deals on the list and came across this. Beautiful truck with still decent mileage. Guy will take 19500 for it.
  21. Yup I need a set of those mats. Truck looks great.
  22. I'm not in too big of a hurry. I am still a few parts short for my Maggie install so once I have them all I will start getting antsy. Either way I will buy my bar from you.
  23. Yeah there are a few of us here in fairbanks
  24. Well my opinion is run the RF. However if you are open to some brands that aren't so main stream there are several alternatives for a little less. Crescendo is one and sundown is another. My biggest concern would be warranty, and how the company deals with claims. You will probably never need to use it but should you you want to know they back their product. With that said I run all RF amps and love them. My 2500 produces 3300 @1ohm. And 14.4 volts. I love this amp. As stated above no matter what direction you go, you will need supporting electrical upgrades. I see some here like caps. I personally don't use them. I decided to use batteries made for audio. They have a much faster discharge rate than say a yellow top. My electrical consists of 300amp alt. 1 yellow top for starting with two large kinetic audio batteries. And of course the big 3 upgrade. To end my rant I will say this. Your audio system is just like any other mod. Once you get to a certain size it requires supporting mods. They pay off if done. Rant over. Let us know what you do.
