Just put my hood on. Glad I did because there were two weird dents that I didn't notice the first few days. And the flat black didn't look bad. But I am definitly getting it painted in the coming weeks.

Running those subs together would be a bad idea. You will never get the same impedance even if you wire the 4 ohm to two. And they would be seeing different power. If you were running two amps it wouldn't matter. I posted the same ? On another forum about my 15's. It was made very clear how bad of an idea it was. So I would make a box for 1 of the subs IMO.

Does the pro flo intake come with everything needed to install. And does it come with injectors. If so what size?

So I bought a used 4l80e with out even thinking and realized it was out of a 98. I see online you can change the internal wiring harness to update it but is that all I need to make this tranny work in my ss? Or will it even work at all? Any advice would be great.

I think I just need to change the internal wiring harness to an 03 and up???

Yeah a kenne bell is on my future. I haven't figured out what long tubes I want to go with. I haven't really found a set of the quality I'm looking for. Like pacesetter and obx. And some one said something about beefing up my 4l80 but what does that mean. What should I change. I was already planning on a stall for my cam and a shift kit. But beyond that I have no idea what else could be done. And does any one know where to find some better looking valve covers??

I've been a ford fan most of my life owned a bunch of stands but I live in the land of the frozen so I bought a Chevy p/u. Ever since I've never thought about another ford. I bought an 05 silverado with an all aluminum 5.3 that was great. Then last year my girl decided it wanted to make love to a pole. I replaced it with an escalade and the sub wasnt for me. So I found the truck I've always wanted an SS. My luck I found a completely stock 05 AWD with 47k on it. Now I'm looking to make it my own as I did my previous silverado. I'm new to adding power to my trucks but so far I have found tons of good info here and everyone seems to want to help. So thanks in advance and I'm glad to be part of the community.

Its going to be a daily driver. And money is always a concern but I have around 8grand left as a budget. And I was also wondering how much of a benefit it is purchasing the intercooler with the sc kit?

So I talked to my tranny guy and he asked what I wanted to do with it. Defenitly gone through and a shift kit but is there any other mods that would be beneficial, well besides the proper stall for my cam.

Yeah I was planning on doing some long tube headers to strait pipe fails. I don't have to deal with emission laws here. And yeah people have all told me a cam really helps with these motors. I was wondering though, who would be able to help with a tune after all upgrades because I don't think the programming stuff that come with the sc will be appropriate for all the other mods that will be done. I might be wrong. And I would have never thought abouthe larger tranny cooler thanks!

So I just bought my 05 ss with 47k on it. I've wanted one forever. Now that I have it I want it to dominate the rest of them in my little town. I am looking to do a super charger and tranny upgrade but not sure what other upgrades I should do. Like what would work well with the supercharger to make the most power and such. The sc I think I'm going with is a kenne bell. It sounds like a really solid unit. I just picked up a 4l80 today and am going to go through it to make sure it's all good. But any help or suggestions would be great! Oh I guess I should specify what kind of hp I'm looking for. Some where around 500 or a little more. I just want to run 12's.
