  1. I haven't got to that part just yet. But I have one as well, and I don't think it's gonna work as it's not vented. Might end up building one in the end and mount it to the core support. Unless you have a different model. Take a pic of yours and how you mount it. Is be interested in how you do that. I got lucky and my heater hoses fit perfect. That damn overflow was huge and had to go. Besides it was in the way of sticking the exhaust out the fender!

  2. Finally an update.....Fuel system is 100% done. Didn't take any pictures but it was pretty simple. Hotwire, -8an feed. 450 pump. Used original feed as return. I've made a lot of progress. Pipes are done minus downpipe. They're painted and wrapped. Wiring is all hidden and tucked. Don't beat me up too much it's still a work in progress...

  3. What do you mean carb style with a horn on top? There's a write up for pretty much every manifold you can think of. They will all work with boost. Depending on the rest of your setup will determine the appropriate manifold. There's nothing wrong with a stock manifold and boost. If you feel your slow just turn the psi up a lb or two

  4. Used some tape to hold the pipe

Together until I get it welded.

As far as I got so far. My fuel system all Came in today. But i just left for Vacation for a week. Will start back up when I get home after the 13th. This good enough for now? Haha

  5. :uhoh: made a ton more progress, just didnt take any pictures. I always forget. Truck is torn down, new cam is installed along with ls9 gaskets (them things are thick!). started to build the hotside. will consist of two stock manifolds, 2.25" tubing, a flex coupler, and two 38mm jgs wastegates. Just have to build to crossover and mount the wastegates. The hardest part was figuring out a way to hang the heavy turbo so i could build to and from it. I took off a bunch of stuff off the passenger side, un necessary brackets. I am going to have to go with a different radiator overflow. There is no room for me to use that big thing. Might build a small custom one. Oil pan is off and summit should be delivering the -10 fitting i need to tap for oil return. Intake manifold is almost all mocked up as well. Got the 80's installed, and figured how I will do all my vacuum ports. Made a bracket to mount the FPR in the front under the TB to the valley cover. I will try to take some pictures today as I keep moving forward.
