  1. Yea i feel you on that one tan just doesnt match anything inside lol, and well the gauge pod is made by glowshift. Got it off ebay for like 35 shipped. Didnt really look into any other, but by the looks of it it looks like it will mount up on top just fine
  2. Ok cool, but they will both bolt up to the stock 317s correct? the ls2 sound a little more better since you can run the 90mm imo
  3. Sure will, ill have up some more soon today. And just regular black paint, spraying it with a gravity feed paint gun, nothing special.
  4. Dammit disregard, i skipped the page with this info already lol. keep it up man shut them ford owners mouth and teach them a thing or two, we have plenty of those here too
  5. Im curious on the ls3 alternator and steering pump, why did you picked those up too? Do you need all the ls3 accesories to run the 2300? But nice build and truck! Cant wait till you fire it up, i just love the sound the 2300 makes!
  6. Wow man nice build, glad to see that you have time to make a little progress everyday and still spend time with your twins. Where did you pick that intake up,? Been searching for one but cant find one with cathedral shaped ports like that one
  7. Every tan piece will be black, just havent had a chance been raining all weekend, humidity sucks
  8. I just might, didnt go last year so maybe yea. You?
  9. Something about these trucks that we just cant get tired of looking at, well at least thats me. Congrats man glad to see youre taking care of it and still plan too for more years!
  10. Truck is looking sharp jr, we need to take some pics soon again! Lol
  11. Its not suede, just regular black cloth like from the new silverados, i like suede but not on the ss, i think suede is more for a luxury/show car/truck, idk maybe just me lol
  12. Really loving that whole set up man, did you get it running good or you gotta do some tuning still
  13. Youll be alright man, cant be nothing major, the only thing that sucks is getting the trans back down if anything. Just take your time dont rush things. Shes coming along great, this is what makes builds fun, the fact that youre doing whatever it takes to have your truck running at its best. Just keep us posted and dont give up on it
  14. ok i got everything back yesterday, gonna be putting it on hopefully tomorrow, today was raining which pushed the plans back a little. gotta say i like how it looks and its not even on yet!, just gotta paint the tan pieces on the visors and were good to go!

    GI.SS 06 SS Build

Nice truck man, sounds good too, hope it puts out some good numbers. You got any idea what you gonna go with wheels, traction is gonna be an issue lol
  21. heres a teaser pic taken last week, the day was perfect! but the truck a little dirty. just wanna show yall how it looks now. gonna make a few changes on the outside too soon
  22. and well just this past weekend i started to remove the headliner to do it black, something i been wanting to do for a long time. just wasnt digging the tan color one. this is how it looked before and well as of now its like this ill post a pic of whenever the black one is back up the guy said itll take em a couple of days to do it, its usually the same or next day but eh i told em not to rush it, i wont be needing it now since i have to paint all the tan color plastics black too to match the whole interior
  23. here are some pics of the pod with the gauges, i went with the oil pressure, air/fuel ratio, and boost gauge. not that im boosting now but it wil be in the near future! ps theyre all autometer gauges maybe later ill upgrade to better ones
  24. Yea well i don't plan on going to high of a compression since im gonna end up boosting later. I know the 317s are perfect for that, just wanted to know if by getting 243s with a little port job will be too much for what I want. Last thing I want is to throw a rod for going a little too far
