Thanks man, you know I was actually undecided between the ls3 and the high ram intake. Im leaning more towards the high ram but reason I haven't pulled the trigger on it is because i know those intakes with long runners are good for low end torque, with that being said I plan on running a 30 3200 stall and I don't know if they'll still perform good on high rpms. With a stall like that im assuming ill blow past the torque curve where those intakes really make power, or will ill be alright and still make decent power all across the power band?. But yes those two are my options and you did clear out some stuff for me, I think ima go with the holley unless theres a reason not too? Just wanted to get some opinions on what intake I should run. I tought I seen some chrome air duct covers on ebay for 100 bucks. They should still be there I wanted to get them but didn't know how they would look

Cool I should be starting to work on it this winter too so hopefully by next year ill have it where I want it to be. And well I wanted to know what injectors would I need?, if I get the intake with the fuel rails will it be a direct fit or will I have to do some modification to my fuel lines. I plan on going boost on the future btw

So I was on the lookout for some heads I was undecided between the 243s and ls3 or l92 heads but then I made up my mind and went with the square port ones since they flow way better than the ones we have. Anyways good thing a buddy of mine was selling a pair he had so I had to get them. Now to look for a ls3 intake and let the tear down begin. btw they didn't come with rockers, anyone out there know if I can use the ones from the 317s or are they different? I had the exact same problem, lucky one day they where parting out an ss and I ended up taking the gas cap off of it too installed it and fixed the problem. Its gonna be the gas cap more than anything just make sure its an oem from a similar silverado, new ones are not made the same, might have been defective

No spare, mine didnt come with one. I wouldnt put one even if it was free ill throw it on the bed if anything lol. I just dont like how it sticks out and everyone can see it if theyre close behind you

And about the wheels. They look nice but not sporty enough for the ss, they would look better on a truck like black in color. Idk maybe just me
