Downshift at WOT question/advice

Not a expert what so ever. But sounds like that's in the tune. Mine did that but it was fixed in the tune by zippy. Mine could of been due to having a stall converter and he tuned it for that maybe. Not sure. Good luck bro -
I sent them over to you...

I'm looking to sell or trade my SSS for a stock trailblazer ss. I'm buying a pick up truck so I can use for my work truck so no need for the SSS to get all beat up. That's where the trailblazer ss would come into play time. My truck has lots of goodies. It's supercharged with a whipple side mount with relocated intake air sensor. Cold air intake, pacesetter long tube headers with High flow cats to a x pipe to 40 series flow masters out the back behind the rear tire. All stainless steel pipe custom bent. Ngk plugs with 409 Taylor wires . Trans was custom built and beefed up with 2800 stall. The gauge cluster was just done by gm gauge guys with the blue led conversion kit. Interior has a new kenwood double din with steering wheel control interface. Has 3 gauge puller with air fuel, boost, and fuel pressure. The truck was tuned by zippy with hptuners by data logging. I'm sure I'm missing a few things. Oh windows are tinted 20 percent and new bell tech shocks all the way around. All the fluids were changed and engine oil is now synthetic. Trans only has about 3000 miles and its only been supercharged about 4000 miles. Runs great. Never abused. Everything works the way it's supposed to. Really looking to trade but will sell also. If you need pics just let me know I can email or text them to u. Not sure on price but willing to work something out. Thanks guys 60 lb injectors, and 05+ electric fan conversion.

overheating in chicago traffic popping fuses
Blazerdave2000 replied to tayldss's topic in General SS
The alternator on mine wasn't bad but when it's hot out and both fans were on at the same time the volts dropped from like 14.2 down to 12.5 and that will cause lots of problems. I replaced with a 145 amp I believe and now the volts don't move at all really. So you have a way of sending over your tune in email? I can compare it to mine. -
overheating in chicago traffic popping fuses
Blazerdave2000 replied to tayldss's topic in General SS
Mine did the exact same thing about 2 months ago that's left me stranded in a parking lot. What I did was cut out the fuse holders that came with the PCM harness and spliced in some better ones redid all the connections and heat shrunk it all. Then ungraded to a higher amp alternator and haven't had a problem since. But it could be a problem in your fan patch also with the settings... -

Trans gear indicator
Blazerdave2000 replied to Blazerdave2000's topic in AWD, Differential, & Transmission Tech
Yes I had the Trans out a few months back to have it beefed up and it's been doing it ever since. Would you have a part number for that switch so I could order it up? Thanks -
Trans gear indicator

I'm going to send my cluster out to be repaired and led conversion. I looked over there website do I need to actually call them first or can I just print out the form and send it to them? Thanks -
The gear indicator on my cluster is acting weird. Lets say I'm in park and go to drive ill actually be in drive but the indicator will be stuck in park for like 5 to 8 sec and it will actually go down to what ever gear I'm in. Not a huge deal but kind of annoying. Anyone have any clue what this is?

Thanks man you really had me looking at these 02 sensors. I had hooked up hptuners and I found on there bank 1 and bank 2 readings for the sensors. Bank 1 was reading like 600 something bank 2 was reading 0 then bounce to 20. I looked at all my old data logging files and noticed in all them both 02 sensors were reading more then what I had. Replaced the bank 2 front sensor and problem solved. Thanks man!!

Thanks. I'm new to hp tuners I was able to add in the pid to detect the mis fires and I'm getting them on 2468... In open for any help with this. The cats only have like 3000 miles on them is that possible to clog that fast? Where do I find that file that your asking in hptuners?

I pulled all the plugs out today and noticed all the driver side plugs were whitish in color. The passenger side of the truck were all black in color. Anyone have any ideas?
