  1. Well I mainly traded down because I wanted something that was a little faster. I was going to buy a sports car but needed a truck too. The SS was the best of both worlds plus it is procharged. Paid cash for it was another reason it looked better for me lol
  2. What I sold to get the SS. Most people wouldn't sell a new model truck for an older truck but I love my SS! What I had before the Red GMC The SS
  3. That's cool, I'm from Wynne, Ar. It's nice to see members that are a little closer!
  4. My airbag light stays on, steering wheel controls don't work, and my horn doesn't work either...
  5. My airbag wasn't deployed and my clockspring isn't working....so there is another thing to worry about lol
  6. Time2Kill has them for $160 and thats a REALLLY good price. Brand new your looking at almost $500!
  7. I work at a federal prison and I go in about 1130pm and get off around 8am. Have to drive 20min home and finally go to sleep about 10am, but no matter what time I go to sleep whether it's 10 or noon I always wake up at 2pm. Then i'll have to take me a nap from 8-10pm before I go back in to work. The only thing about sleeping for 4-5hrs a day is when it's finally my "weekend" (not a sat-sun...more like a mon-tues ) I sleep for 12hrs my first "off" day...so it kills my whole weekend.. It blows!
  8. Anybody interested in a brand new unopened KB 40A boost-a-pump. I bought it and ended up not needing it. They are like $300 and they were going to charge me a restocking fee so I would just rather sell it here if somebody needs one. Shoot me a PM for price.
  9. Had a little fender bender in the SS. Pulled the cladding off the pass. side cab behind the ext door and dented it in. Scrapped back to pass. tire

    1. JC03SS

I got it at the body shop now :( it dented in the cab under the cladding, but pulled the cladding off with only a small scratch. Hopefully a lil sanding n paint will fix her up! Def. cutting into mod money tho lol

  10. Dang! I guess that's why the guy I bought the truck from never fixed it! He said they were like $100 so he gave me a $100...that sucks! Cuttin into my mod money!!
  11. I would also like info on this part # too!! My horn and lights in my steering wheel don't work and my airbag light is on! Drives me crazy, but didnt want to go to the dealership to find out it'll cost $500 or something... let me know, thanks!
  12. On my 08' lifted sierra, I kept going thru cv axles like crazy!! Every time I would go down to napa or orielly's and get me a new one. Well come to find out...the ones you buy from part stores are about an inch shorter than the GM cv axles. So on my lifted truck the angle made it shorter already then you take away another inch in a shorter cv axle and thats the reason i kept breaking them..I don't know how much difference the price in the 03 to 08 cv axles, but from napa mine were about 100 and the GM were like 400 but worth the money since they aren't an inch too short...hope that helps. Wish I would have known before I bought like 4 sets of the napa/oriellys brand!
  13. We get that you don't like plasti dip....Is it necessary to comment on every single post that has plasti dip in it? Does it make you feel better about yourself? Instead of paying hundreds of dollars to see if I liked the black on black look and ruining my perfectly stock SS rims, I plasti dipped them. If I didn't like it...cool I can just peel it off and still have sweet stockers. But if I got them powder coated and decided it's not for me...then I just wasted hundreds of dollars and a set of perfectly good rims. When you spray it at the right temp then you cant tell they are plasti dipped. I started dippin mine around noon and by the time I got to my last wheel the temp dropped and it became more of a textured spray. But on the other 3 wheels they look perfect. So I waited til a different day and now they all look good and I decided I want powdercoated rims. Plasti dip isn't bad and it saves alot of money on permanent mistakes you could possibly make....quit bein a d*ck just so you can be known as the "plasti dip hater"
  14. Yea I changed the filter. I just bought the hotwire kit, it should be in within the next couple of days. I wouldnt think I would have fuel problems with a 255 walbro and p1sc procharger with the 3.85 pulley thats only runnin 6-7# of boost when procharger doesn't even require an upgraded pump for that......I just dont know why im having fuel problems. But I changed the pump to a 255, have the hotwire kit on order, and also got a KB Boost-a-pump. Hopefully this will be the last thing I have to do fuel wise...
  15. Im running lean around 5300rpm. I just put in a walrbo 255 in tank fuel pump and during wot im running 74psi of fuel pressure, but when it gets around 5300 it drops to about 48psi. I just bought a Fuel pump hotwire kit. Should i get a KB boost a pump or flowcharger? Internet links would be nice! Im only running about 7-8lbs of boost and i have FAST 57#injectors so I wouldnt think I would be maxed out on injectors so help would be appreciated. I just want to make sure i get the right boost a pump...it should be the 20A and not the 40A right?
  16. same box I got haha.. I can't justify spending thousands of dollars on a box that would cost more than the amount of tools I own, but if I did it for a living maybe so!
  17. Im going to try the hotwire kit an see how that goes..
  18. I do have a pressure gauge on it. It runs about 64psi at idle. Goes all the way up to 70psi under heavy throttle but right when it shifts at WOT it drops down to around 48psi.
  19. I have 100xxx on my truck. Im only running like 6-7# of boost. I have a buddy that has a mangnacharger and i have the same setup as he does -injectors and pump and we also have the same tuner? I figured the walbro 255 would be enough...
  20. I have a 03 procharged SS and I just recently put in a walbro 255 intank fuel pump because my tuner said I was leaning out at 4300rpm. After the install my pressure went up a bit, now im leaning out around 5300rpm. It drops under 50psi around 5300ish. I thought the fuel pump would fix the problem. Could it be a fuel filter problem? Or do I need a boost a pump too?
  21. I finally got my walrbo 255 fuel pump in thanks to member nelsonoffroad aka seth.
