  1. Yes play in the wheel! OK Thanks......I have Moog hubs waiting for me at Pep Boys. They wanted $175 I found them on summit and they matched the price $125 each.

I usually like to use GM parts if at all possible! Thanks very much for your replies!!!!

  2. First looks like my CV joints are needing replaced. Have some play in the wheels more so on the passenger side! So figured I'd check the lugs and oil and I'd grease up the front end. My dipstick won't go back in all the way.

Any suggestions on the dip stick?

  3. lots of corvette stuff, doors, body parts, off road exhaust covers, headers w/side pipes, hub caps, multiple sets of newer take off rims went cheap. A set of 4 went for like $60. Complete turbo set up for a 70's-80's blazer with exhaust manifolds. I missed what it went for. Holley carbs, intakes old & newer. Pedal cars and planes.

Had a room full of fishing stuff.......couple stuffed bears, deer heads, antlers.

  4. mostly pretty cheap! Some of the really good stuff was top dollar.......most people didn't have trucks so the bigger stuff went cheap.

a nice 427 BB needed assembly $525 square port heads went for $$1100 3-muncie trans rebuilt $600-1000.

I bought a cool old machinists wooden tool box loaded with mics and dial indicator gauges & had a bunch of other stuff in it for $20!!

  5. New tune is in!

I had an issue with plug wires and a broken ground strap. New wires installed and I fixed the strap. Runs great!

I don't like that it kicks down to first if I mash the gas at like 30 mph. It won't kick down from OD with light throttle.

Just wants to gradually accelerate so I have to hit the pedal more until it kicks down. Very minor!

I will address it when I make the next mod.

  6. Went to put in the new wires truck was running rough and had a slight miss.

One plug wire was hanging, and another had just a couple wire strands holding it together.

When I replaced my coils due to running rough the same plug wire was off. The rear one on Pass side.

    This a common issue?

As I was doing that I noticed the ground from hood to firewall was broken.

Fixed that and with the new wires the truck is running great again.

Installed Zippy Tune last month.........couldn't be happier!
