Really need to see current pics........but I would get the Malibu's drive train straightened out & make it a dependable driver over the winter for next summer. If you do a frame off you won't be driving it for years and costs are astronomical, unless you do most of the work.
Cruise the Malibu & work on the SS as you collect the parts for the Malibu to convert to SS!!

She's probably getting tired of waiting if she has any interest! I've found that the longer you wait the less likely she will take the bait.

Arrived yesterday, I'll have them mounted this week. My dealer charges only $12.50 per to mount, balance and get rid of the old ones!.

There is also a chrome paint. West Coast Customs did an Audi in chrome a while back.

Have cat back complete not cut up! I'll be doing headers & cats over the winter if you are looking for the whole system.

just ordered new Yokohama's $700 for the set delivered. The old ones are still good for summer but looking ahead to a bad winter so fresh rubber is needed.
Total of 80,000 + or - a couple thousand on the two previous sets, couldn't be happier!!
I am pretty hard on them esp the on/off ramps!!
