Look what it actually took for that type of thing to happen... 2 natural disasters back to back... The likely hood is sooooo small of that happening that I think it's well worth the risk. So many redundant systems and what not to prevent it from happening. Obviously not saying it can't or wont happen but not very likely.

I say go for 55w 5000k. Those r what I've been happiest with. If u want a little hint of blue go with 6000k. I would go with 55w for sure though. Having had both 35 and 55, the 55w is a lot brighter imo.
