Here are a couple links with detailed pics and instructions on how to change out 2 of the 3 blend door actuators http://www.sparkys-answers.com/2011/02/2003-chevrolet-silverado-changing-mode.html (this is on the driver side of the center console if the a/c is stuck blowing in one position i.e defrost only) http://www.sparkys-answers.com/2011/03/2004-chevrolet-silverado-dash-cover.html (this is if the passenger side is blowing out hot air) If the driver side is only blowing hot air this actuator is on the passenger side under that black cover under the glove compartment. Hope this helps.

Ya my passanger side went out one day and was stuck blowing hot air full blast. That's the one that takes some time to get to, but it's doable. There's a good write up somewhere on line that I followed and it worked perfect. I'll try and find the post and get the link up
