    I work with epoxy and fiberglass every day. I doubt the strength of an unreinforced steel to epoxy to glass bond. I would use epoxy but also glass in the bolt heads to the roll pan glass. (Using epoxy for the whole project).

     

     

     

    You shopping for a body upgrade, Alex? It would look sharp as all get out.

    Ya I would like to have this done. Be nice to have the part for when I am ready to do it.

    Man! That looks like a major project!! How long did it take yo to do that Alex?

     

    I've heard that the passenger side is the easy side. :jester:

    I wish it was the easy one. I changed the other 2 (the easy ones) before figuring out it was this one. Took me about two hours to do it. But with the picture guide it was really easy.

    Here's the write up I used to change mine. This one he is changing is specifically for the passenger side.

     

    Having trouble controlling the zone is the one on the drivers side i believe. It's under the dash to the right. sits on the center console.

    thnx for the info :) and i Mostly do realistic artwork and design on reply ,have my own shop in Eeklo for 4 years now and in total 8 years experience and in my own opinion want to learn a lot more :D do you have tattoos? :D

    I do have tattoo's. I got my whole right leg done. Its a Japanese theme. Ill have to see if I can get some pics up of it. I have a buddy of mine that I grew up with who does all my work. Wouldn't mind seeing some of your work If you get a chance to get some pics up.

  21. heat doesn't blow

    have a 2003 silverado SS with the digital climate control. heat started not to blow out recently. none of the fan speeds work nor does the front defrost. any ideas?

    I had my a/c from the passenger side blowing hot air only... It ended up being one of the blend door actuators. There are 3 of them.

     

    Who needs a SSS when you got a GTO! :drool:

     

    I have the same problem, but I have 1 and 5 on the fan speed working. I hope this thread pans out nice so I can fix mine.

    My a/c was only blowing on high (5) and had to change the blower motor resistor. Simple fix under the passenger dash.
