  1. Ok, So I decided to order those fenders so by time they get here I'll have my paint to redo my entire truck. But the snuglid SL I have I got it from a friend for free. Problem is I need to rebuy everything to install it. The other problem is I have no idea what I need to order so I can install it. Anyone got pic's of there covers so I can know what to look for? I tried the snugtop website but they were no help at all. Also on a side note, should i wait to get SS cladding (wont be for months till I could even get these) before i paint it? Or should i go ahead and repaint it now? Only reason I'm asking is cause i dont want to have to paint the cladding when I do get it and it mismatch (be brighter/darker then the rest of the truck) Thanks for the help guys. It's much appreciated.

I been trying to find some cheap fenders but all were$350+ (with shipping) but i finally decided to scrap up some more cash and i saw these http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Set-of-2-Fender-Primered-Full-Size-Truck-Chevy-88944420-88944419-Pair-/350632758628?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item51a3574d64&vxp=mtr anyone know some cheaper ones or if i should trust these people? I've already looking at surrounding junk yards and i cant find any fenders at all from there so i might just order these ones. also, sorry btw I dont know where to post this kind of thing.
  4. how would i check a bad ground at the instrument cluster? it might be one of my stepper motors cause i know my oil level and temp. guages are bad
  5. Sorry for the new topic but i guess people stopped looking at the other thread. I found my drain its from my IPC/DIC fuse pulling .48 amps. Now i unplugged my instrument cluster and followed the wires but didnt find anything. Does anyone know what other wires i should be looking at?
  6. went out and did redid my test this time and it turns out the big maxi fuse "LBEC" is pulling .11 amps and my IPC/DIC fuse is pulling .30 (pulling lbec went from .80 to .67 and pulling the ipc/dic made it from .67 to .38) so can anyone give me a wiring diagram for these two fuses or help me out?

  9. hmm i still have it plugged in ( still no fuses pulled) i been periodadically been check it and every time its been at .21. so i reopened the door it jumped up a amp or so but shot down to .80 then like 5 secs of staying at .80 it went back down to .21
  10. k my meter read 0.63 at first i just went outside to check on it and its at 0.21 (with no fuses pulled at all) now i'm just confused
  11. also should i let it sit 20 mins after opening a door? that way i can go pop my hood now

  14. Ok. I think i can get a hold of a multimeter now just have to wait till 9 to get it (central time). do i also pull at the tbc batt fuse? ( i think that what it was called)
  15. I have my truck where non of the inside lights come on when you open the door. As for door latches how would i disable those? i didnt even think about those.

  17. Well i replaced the battery when it happened and it lasted me 3 full days with out me boosting it so i figured it was good. Ill have to wait to go tomorrow and recheck this new battery. Also how can i disable the theft system? well i know for a fact all pulled out all of the insides ones. the only ones i didnt pull from under the hood was the very top ones that are like square shapes. Ive pulled out all the little fuses and the relays. but i can go back tomorrow and recheck again.
  18. so i did the parasitic draw test and i only get a reading of 0.80ish amps (when set to 10amps) being drawn and ive pulled out all fuses one by one (under hood fuses and interior fuses) and it wont go below that. The battery was recently replaced so its not the battery. And the altanator is good to. So what else can i do? If my truck sits for a few hours (sometimes depending on how much ive driven during the day) it will die and every morning i come out to a dead battery. The only thing i did when this started happening was i installed a center console but i already tore that back out and made sure i had the wires connected right. Also i changed my driver seat from non electrical to electrical but ive unplugged the seat to see if that was the cause and it still wasnt. Any help is appreciated. Also its a 04 silverado. Also sorry if this is posted in the wrong section.
  19. Sorry i guess i got to far ahead of myself when typing and i double read it also. I feel stupid now lol. But i was wanting to see if the driver and passenger front fenders were still available.
