Wanting to shorten my rear end for billets on my 2wd 05 SS.. been researching a lot lately and I've read that doing so sets off the abs light and traction sensors... those of you that have done this, does it really affect those sensors and would I be driving around with all those lights on my cluster???? Thanks

I will be needing new tires soon... currently on stock tire size and a 2-2 drop... i want to know of a tire size that will work good without rubbing in any form and that fills up the gap and has some sidewall to it also... planning on going with a 3-4 drop down the road with stock SS wheels.. thanks in advance any pictures are appreciated

So I finally pulled the trigger on the racelines I wanted... I went with the explosion 6 model polished and black... 22x10/ 6 in lip & 22x8.5/ 2 in lip... I bought them used in like new condition with brand new tires....($2100 for the set what do yall think??)...now I just need to get my rear end done... gotta start looking for a shop that can narrow it for me...

Yes most guys that use factory wheels use the 06 star-shaped 17s with drag tires

I just popped off the bulb covers on the bumper with my fingers... it's a pain, especially on your fingers since you'll be squeezing them a bit... be careful not to break them..

I'm 3-2 right now on the SS, belltech spindles, keys and shackles I have about 1.5-2 in of rake in the rear that's why I was thinking of hangers... yes let me know if you get any part #s...

I know that hangers are a PITA but any other issues with these??? Any squeaking after install??? Do you have a part #??did you notch your frame also?? Thanks in advance

Looking at different styles of raceline billet wheels.. I know that the rear differential has to be shortened for a wider lip look..I like the racelines deceptive 5, explosions, or the blast models in 22s by 10. Not looking to go an excessive 10 or 12in lip but something instead like a 6-8 in the rear. I'm wanting to know any pros and cons of doing this?? Also would I still be able to put my stock SS rims back?? Thanks!

I'd build the motor before supercharging it... headers, cam, internals all that stuff and then save a little more for the supercharger... supercharger alone and you will probably break something real fast

I always wash mine at the carwash with the degreaser from autozone just don't power wash it because something can loosen up..

I know the dash bezel trim fits on the SS I had one on my single cab, but what I wanted to know is if the denali center console pieces fit on the regular SS console?? At least the top part of the console where the lighter other plug in goes.... thinking about picking some up
