  2. Once again, sorry bout that. Tapatalk is cutting some info out.
  3. *Update*: the guy replied to me and said he was out of state working. I'm working with a friend of mine to try and get this done. I have to get the dimensions from an optima. Still working on it guys.
  4. TBSSOwners.com. Try the parts numbers section.
  5. Starting a business is an awesome thing. Some can do it, some can't. Quality work and a general "want" to do it will allow you to succeed. I wish you good luck and I've got some questions about your site. Can you send me a pm?
  6. I also use AMSOIL as I am a dealer. I'm the same way. As I get time, fluids get swapped over. It's awesome. Everybody has there niche though. Some here will say they love Mobil, some Royal Purple, some Rotella. I just find, after extensive research (a lot of reading) I wouldn't use anything else. AMSOIL has oil/lubricant for EVERYTHING. They also offer fuel treatment, engine/trans flush, grease, penetrant oil, 2-stroke oil, marine formulas, almost anything you can think of.
  7. It has pros and cons. ZDDP. Here is some info: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zinc_dithiophosphate#section_2 I'm on my phone. Sorry for the mobile site. Here's another talking about the oil specifically. It has a pretty good discussion both ways and is informative. http://m.corvetteforum.com/c6-z06-discussion/3065055-joe-gibbs-ls30-motor-oil.html?styleid=132 Sorry again for the mobile site. If you have any questions, feel free to pm me.
  8. lol. If it makes you feel any better, my silverado is a '91.
  9. Joe Gibbs LS oil has a high concentration of zinc. Just something to consider.
  10. My Silverado sits around too. I don't have a lot of time, or a lot to do with it (towing, etc). I used to drive it all over then I bought a DD. I would never get rid of my truck (unless for another truck) for the simple fact that, when I need it, I have it. It's a truck, it will always be useful. Don't sell! You'll probably regret it.
  11. I can post this thread on TBSSOwners forum if you'd like.
  12. So what you're saying is you haven't spoken to the guy/dealership IN PERSON to look at these issues yourself? You're being accused of things and they have the "evidence", go view it yourself. They're probably full of crap. Yes the ECM can be swapped out, like said here before, happens all the time. Buy a spare, ship it for a mail order tune, there it is! I'd be doing some investigating myself. I want to see proof!!
  13. He Pmed back and said he was out of town for work right now. He didn't say how long. I have a friend the does drafting and design work looking at what's going on right now. I should be able to get with him this weekend as I'm on a T/A right now working nights. So either way I have 2 irons in the fire to get a few made.
  14. I have the Duralast Professional. It's behind the counter, you have to ask for it. I like it. Haven't had any problems with it. I have a couple Duralast red top batteries in my other vehicles. Those work great. I have an Optima D27M for my boat and when I had "sound" in my vehicle for competition. Previous vehicles had Interstate batteries in them. Awesome battery also.
  15. Thank you for that..... Group/Battery Example: Guys with top posts may have a Group/Model # 75/25 Red top or a Group D34/78 Yellow top. I have a D27M Blue top. Understand?
