Found a SSS getting parted out near me. Looks like a lot of good interior pieces for anyone who need them.

Nice find. I have an extra one in the garage but this would be a better way to go than rebuilding my spare one. Im guessing the autozone one is still a GM product right?

I had the same concern with this issue. After reading a bunch of threads it seems that in the front the jouncy bumpers touching or just barely not touching the lower A arm is considered normal. Supposedly the bump stop or jouncy bumpers works in conjunction with your torsion bars kinda like a coil spring that increases the rate as it compresses. Through me for a loop also when I noticed it on mine till I really dug in to reading about it. At least that's what I took from the readings online. Someone chime in with input if I miss understood or misinformed crawlinss.

Did you have a hook up on getting parts. Seems like my awd has keep me busy since I owned it working on the transfer case twice and rebuilding/ changing the front diff out. Its getting pricey. 2wd seems so much more simple to maintain or rely on. Hoping this awd will payoff for me one day.

Thought about getting a plane to mess with. So far all I got are SC10 trucks. I have a buddy who flies RC planes and he's pretty serious doing competitions all over. He even has a box trailer to haul one of his planes.

Yes C10s are SICK. I will have one at some point. I looked at one this past summer that was a Short box with a 327 3 on the tree. needed complete restoration. but the guy would not move on the price at all so I passed.
But something Like this is where its at for me.
Thats the perfect setup right there. I wouldn't mind the old rally wheels on them either. Love those trucks.

I miss the power of my 06 Charger SRT8 which I owned before my SSS. One ride I always liked/ wanted was the Buick Gran National. Also there is just something about the old 68-72 short bed C10s. With the proper suspension and tire combo they look amazing.

Just curious what was the price on them? Silver or chrome?
They guy was asking $300.00 for them. They are silver. He had hem on his lifted truck with some offroad tires on them. It didn't look to bad either. The rims look really taken care of with no scrapes or chips. Figured they would of sold quick.

Found some SSS wheels for a good price. I would jump on this if I had the spare cash. Posting in case you all are looking for some. Just mount your own tires on them if you have 20s.

Mr. Scary hit it on the head. There is not much to it at all. There is a rubber boot that covers the slip yoke portion on the transfer case side of the shaft that has a metal band around it. I had to cut that band then pull the shaft straight out.

Does anyone know about the shipping of these shocks from Tony. I can't get ahold of him in any my messages. I paid for them and have no shipping info. Onebadmax how long did your shipping take. Any sort of help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Dang that's a bummer. I hope they take care of you and you guys still get the correct diff.. As soon as I seen the pick on page 1 I could tell that diff was made for the selectable 4wd. Keep us up to date on if they get you the correct one.
