with doubling the rear doors and the some of the back wall i used about 70 sqft, i would say if you want no noise like how it kinda sounds like you want to do , then i would go with about 200 sqft and almost triple everything.

never hit anything before, hoping it still wont now. my hands are TORN up!!!

alright, finally got done with the thing, but my amp and subs arent here yet but all the hard work is done I did the whole truck, back wall, rear doors, front doors, and the floor. I got some pics, havent transferred them yet. Ill take the rear doors off, but i ran out of matting so i need to get more. when i get done ill put the pics up. ran them off the h/u, i think thats why. Maybe ill run them to the amp....yeah ok i think ill run them to the amp and see how they sound i think the amp can handle it.

lol damn i put the doors back on, ill take some pics of the second half tomorrow before i finish it up. i ended up getting those kickers you told me about. they sound ok, right now it was hard to tell if they were better than the bose, i tried to compare them but couldnt tell so much. im thinking of doing the front doors as well, so i might be getting more crap and when i do that ill take pics of the doors. But for the rears i did the interior and exterior, so like 2 layers. The rest of the truck im only doing single, though in some places i have double layers.

now im done with half the truck, got the drivers side and rear driver side and wall with sound dampner. Ill finish up the other half tomorrow but im waiting on my new amp as well before i put the rear seat back in.

the only thing shitty about that is you are with your girl, you dont want those dumb asses doing anything stupid especially if there are a bunch of them. yeah if it were different and felt ok id say throw the hundred down and spank the shit out of the dumbass. Funny i never run into any punk kids on the street or just walking around...

Thanks Makani Starting to get somewhere with it...slowly. I have a set of heads being worked out a WCCH, and I got the block on a cradle. Gotta get some bolts so I can lift it into my truck and get it to my dad's shop for the once over. I'm also waiting for some parts that were missing from the engine stand that I ordered...hopefully OTC will get them out to me asap. Wifey and I are expecting a baby around Sep 6th (our first, a little girl)...so I'm tryin to get as much done to the truck now while I can...before my mod money turns into diaper money <{POST_SNAPBACK}> NICE, congrats on the girl!!! yeah i got my heads from WCCH, they do some AWESOME work...so you figure you have until sept to get the engine swapped and BLOWN

hmmm tuesday i should be getting some subs as well....just got done putting in the kicker rear fill and matting the rear doors. this weekend ill finish up with the rear wall and floors. All seats are out of the truck
