  1. Over on pt.net, it's a busy site, but it covers lots and lots of different trucks. I always thought this site was a bit slow but since its a bit of a niche truck, the slow traffic was to be expected :tumbleweed: . But lately i've been spending some time on tbssowners.com and man, they always have plenty of interaction goin on. It's a niche truck too, What do they have this place doesnt? Is it because there isnt any new trailblazers like there is new full size silverados?

  2. Seems like plenty of people had to try different shims to get their pinion angle right. What about those extra shims? I'm looking for a set of 2 degrees and set of 4 degrees. The sooner the better. That vibration at 70 is driving me batty.

  3. Here's a question i have. Would this affect getting an alignment done? I ask because i have a lifetime alignment through Tires Plus and since i just did a 3/3 drop i was concerned they wouldnt do the alignment. They did, but said since it was basically the exact same components it didnt void the warranty. But any modified parts then they wont do it. Even those upper arm adjustable ball joints (which i dont have anyway) would be considered "modified" and then void the warranty. This doesnt appear to really affect alignment, but i thought i'd ask about it.

**EDIT** I would have been very very interested in this if I hadnt just done the 3/3 drop. I think its probably the cats ass!

  4. Anybody have or know where i can find a hidden hitch setup?

***EDIT*** I see them on ebay for around 150. Is it possible to use this with the stock rear bumper? Modifying the plate to flip out? I don't like the stock hitch hanging down but i do tow some things. Thought i might be able to make this work.

  5. What about that waterless wash Adams sells? Maybe an option?

Remember that scene in The Three Amigos when they're riding through the desert and Steve Martin's canteen is empty, Martin Short's is full of sand, but Chevy's is full, and he gargling and spitting it out...then throws the whole canteen on the ground and all the water runs out...I'm Chevy here in WI and your Steve in CA :jester:

I wash my truck like every 3-4 days. On the flip side, we have winter, so you'll always have that over me lol!

  6. The cost of the tbss intake gets expensive with the x link.

I just did another tbss intake swap on Saturday with the TB adapter, there super easy IMO and worth the time.

Best thing to do is buy an adapter for your stock TB and later buy the x link so the cost isn't too high. It's what I did and I definitely benefited with a gain in power and et with this swap. And just recently I bought a new x link.

Then you're the guy i need to talk with to iron out the grey areas with the swap.

  7. I just finished Norcals 2/3-3/4 drop kit this past weekend. I'm pretty much at 3/3 but i feel a vibration at around 65 that i never felt before. When i took it in for the alignment they told me the drivers side cam bolt was seized and while it was technically within spec, it was still -2 degrees. So I ordered a new camber kit, but after reading this, i wonder if i need these axle shims.

Tony told me there is no reason the djm front lower a-arm alignment cant be dialed in to Zero
