Did you use the truck brackets or have to change to f-body or corvette bracket for the alt., power steering pump, ect.
All custom brackets and spacers, you can get through Speed Inc......
I used a stock F-Body Water pump...
I'll get some pictures posted later today.

I am very interested how the trans does, do you think it is a better setup than the flp level5. Did you dyno today any results.
I really like my transmission set up, very crisp shifts and no lag….But only time will tell how well she holds up.
On who is better, I think they are both about the same when it comes to quality and craftsmanship.....
I went with the Max Evil because they are tight with my engine builder and I have a good relationship with Speed Inc. They have stood behind everything without question!
With me changing to the 90mm FAST Intake and 90mm TB…I had a custom wire harness made up. It should be done and ready to go tomorrow...

What about the trans who built it and is it doing ok?
I went with a custom built 65E Max Evil..... and the PI 10.5" three disk TC and a few other goodies......She holding up great. The nitrous will be up next week, should see how a 100-175 shot will react....

Update......I did the LS2 90mm FBW TB, F-Body water pump, FAST 90mm intake and all the goodies to make that work.....
Oh yeah I also did a 150 wet shot
She goes on the Dyno Tuesday...........

I just got my built 65e trans/TC put in this week......She feels great and snaps through the gears....

I have everything ordered and ready to put on for the N20, but I might change my TB and intake.....

I'm sorry I missed your question.....I have my old complete motor up on an engine stand.....Everything but the intake and accessories are still with the original 6.0L.....

I just picked up my 5 year old up from school and he wanted to help out with the truck.
I showed him how to rev it up.....Like father like son, he loved it.....

My time has been limited with the new born, but I just got a few extra minutes and got some sound clips.......
I'll get some more when I have some more time.....I also want to post some kills.
Even with a trashed tranny, I am getting some good kills......

i'd say go with a direct port system that is programmable. hellbents10 uses that on his grandpa's truck and it works out very nicely.
How about some suggestions.....

Update......
Just got the truck back, major transfer case work done.
Transmission, trashed....Ordered new one....4L65Evil ......I'll post more once I've blessed it.......
Now the big question....Should I do nitrous or a blower (ATI D1SC)?
If I do nitrous I don’t need to change anything pistons/cam...currently around 11:1 compression...Good to go, just have 6 15# bottles in the bed...
If I do a big ass blower I'll need to change the pistons and maybe cam and some other stuff to handle 15+psi.........
What to do..............

the funny thing is that if he still has the stock intake on it, he could send it in looking completely stock.Zippy right, it looks totally stock, but it sounded like a funny car when I pulled it into the dealer service isle.....

Well some good news......
I just stopped by the dealership, looks like the Trans and something in the transfer is just about shot.
New parts next week....
What should I add? Shift kit, billet servos?
Zippy I need a hook up........

I'm pondering the 4L80E, but will that be a reliable solution? How much HP does that trans loose? I've heard its great for low-end torque, but that can’t be super efficient. I love my truck, but my transmission has always been an issue.
This will be #3 factory tranny for me.
Then again they have all been stock transmissions. I going to give it a try, but I need some more info from guys that are over 400 rwhp/tq. What are they running in there trucks?

I have not seen the dyno sheet yet...they shut it down @ 4,000 rpm because of the intake/trans issues......
The motor was running out of air and the trans were not reactive at the higher rpm's.....
@ 4,000 rpm 380 RWHP and Crank HP was in the 550 range when they shut it down.....
For right now, A dyno queen she's not..........
My stock intake and trans are the limiting factor right now, but the stock intake I can work through with a little research........
My issue is the Transmission......
On the road she feels really strong, all 4 break loose and she pulls strong until it shifts. I noticed that the transfer case is making some wicked noise also.
I hope to get some track times before the trans blows completely......
I have a price on a 4L80 trans conversion, it has been in a blown 408 for the last few months with no problems, but its up in the $5K range......
FLP 4L65 Stage V is in the $3500 range????
I really want to come up with something to do with the trans and keep this motor in this truck...
If I can't, the motor will go into the Vette and I'll do a head/cam combo on the stock motor over the winter.
I'm open to all suggestions......

Well I just got the bad news......
Trans just took a crap when they were getting the dyno #'s......
I'm starting to look at Rossler and FLP now.......

Updated pictures, it looks like everyone took off this week.
Looks like next week for the wire harness....
It looks like one of the bolts is hitting the belt also, we need to shave that down, but it should not be an issue....
