I bought some aftermarket headlights and parking lights off ebay. The headlights have been fine, no moisture but the parking lights keep getting moisture in them. The little rubber gasket between the bulb socket and the actual headlight seems worn. So whenever I put the socket in and twist, it's at best "snug" but not tight. My question is, is it possible to just buy the gasket or does anyone have any other fixes for this?

Miles? Mods?

Looks great man! Thanks! How's it handle with the drop?
-
Nice man! You have matching SS vehicles!

Thanks Muggs.
Hey SSmooth do you have any current photos of your truck with the 22 reps and the 2/2 drop?

Johnny thanks for the info. I use my phone, I have a galaxy s5. And yeah it was really humid, after I wiped off the lens it got better. But you're right the sky was a bright grey.
Thanks Jason. Trying to be like you

Thanks, it literally took all day and then when I went to drive it today it rained. Classic

I ment spindles, the ones that go in the front. I know I can buy then new but I was just seeing if anyone had a used pair laying around
-
Hmmm an eBay spindle... that sounds promising.
I got the mod bug man

Looking to buy some drop spindlee. Not picky on the brand. Let me know what you got

Ok,just to clarify. If I run the 2/2 belltech drop with OE height Street Performance Shocks I will be fine? I don't want the ride being too rough. I'm assuming the only negative effect will be that my shocks will wear quicker. Can anyone chime in?

Alight guys so I have a little dilemma. My truck has 95k on it and the shocks are completely blown, the ride is horrible and they need to be replaced. I bought the OE height Belltech Street Performance Shocks and plan on putting them on. But I also plan on dropping the truck 2/2 either next summer or next fall once I get back from deployment and the truck is paid off. Question is, how will the ride quality be with the 2/2 drop and the OE height Belltech Street Performance Shocks, compared to the 2 inch lowering Belltech Street Performance Shocks. Thanks in advance!

That's is stock height?
A_FuriousSS, yeah some more angles would be good. Thanks man!

Let me know what you got! Been searching the internet for an hour or so. Thanks

Dear God, sounds like a bad day.

Thanks man. Perfect

Looking to see what 22 inch chrome reps would look on a stock height black ss. Also, I was wondering if anyone had issues with the 22 with rubbing after 2/2 drop. Any problems with ride quality with less sidewall on the tire? What tire size is recommended?

Hey guys it's been sold. Sorry I was slow to get back to everyone.

Selling K&N CAI its in excellent shape. I am selling it because it doesnt fit on my truck. I have a 2003 with the belt driven fan, this intake system will only fit trucks with the newer electric fans. PM me if your interested.

Thanks guys. Yeah I know I should have gotten OEM but I cheaped out. Its sad everything now is made out of country, its challenging to buy American stuff you really have to look for it. I figured they have a lifetime warranty and I got them for $90 total. Plus I can save some money for mods!

Solved! Took off the stuck caliper and exchanged it for another reman problem solved. I guess quality control is lacking. Thanks everyone for the help.

Dont know. I will check tomorrow. Would they cause excessive brake dust on my wheels though?
Headlight moisture. Possible to buy replacement gasket?

Thanks for the tips guys. It sucks the fake chrome plating on the inside of the headlight is flaking because of the moisture. Luckily the ebay store I bought them from has AWESOME customer service and they keep sending me new ones. I have a fresh pair I'm going to put in. My plan is to silicone the outside like you guys said then I was thinking of buying just a sheet of rubber and cutting some gaskets myself. How think do you think I should order the rubber sheet. I was thinking either 1/8 inch or 1/2 inch. Thoughts?
