Is there a certain way the o2 sensors should be placed in exhaust? The truck will have headers and dual exhaust. Where is the suggest O2 sensor placement? 1 on the headers? or use 2 behind the muffler? I don't want to screw this up. That way everything will be in place after the headers & exhaust are redone, there wont be any issues when it comes time to get it tuned. I honestly have no idea how this should be done.

Was heading back across the river from getting beer and eating at BDubs (naturally not in my truck...never fails) and was sitting at a red light and a blacked out SS comes rolling buy. Very nice looking truck. Smoked lights (appeared to have) didn't get a real good look at it. Buddy got my attention and said hey an SS...Ohio Tags (not exact plate) but it said Back In Black...awesome touch and very sharp looking truck. I am assuming he was heading back to Ohio from another Fireworks show on in KY on the 5th....

They still stealing SS's out there in Cali?

I've had my SS since Jan/Feb and I've been working diligently to get her into Day 1 shape or as close to it as possible. The factory wheels 3 out of 4 I've had to strip the tire off and grind down the Calcium build ups. The air had been slowly seeping out. I also had to replace a valve stem. Its not a major issue but I think I am going to go ahead and do the 4th and final wheel as a preventative measure. The previous owner of this truck kept the truck in good shape but she didn't bother to put forth the effort into the little things. Its been a pain in the @ss. I also found a type of paint that is for the factory wheels & supposed to guarantee no cracks/rust/or build up. I am going to clean up the factory wheels and touch them up and use them as winter wheels (mind you when I move, the truck is going to kept in the garage in the winter months), Once I finish up the other projects I am working on with the Sss I am going to buy new rims anyway. Wondering if anybody out there has had this issue...

Is it not illegal in Illinois to have Blue Lights on your truck? or is it exempt because I assume you are a fireman?

See I remember you saying something about Borla on your SS ricky..but I was curious if you had 2 mufflers. I couldn't remember. You think you could if possible snap a pick or something next time you get it up on jacks or work on it... Did you have an X pipe as well? My truck has came along way.. she has a few more things left to do..(next year after this coming winter She's getting repainted).... Have you heard of BlueCat tuning? he's local and from what I've heard he is supposed to do great things...but I digress... yea man once I get the exhaust done I'll have to run down to hazard and let you see the truck....

I spoke to Borla today. Explained the issue I had due to space underneath the SS. I was hoping for 2 mufflers with an x pipe. Guy at Borla said the best fit with space to work would be : PROXS dual in/out 2.5 2.5 with a custom X pipe. I have been put at a standstill with the truck. I was wondering for an 03' what the best way to go about this. I had spoke to a couple people in the past when I was debating on how to run the exhaust. I plan on running the exhaust in front of the rear tires. I have 2 factory tips for this project. I am wondering if anybody has a different BORLA, set up with 2 mufflers and how they did it and part numbers that can help me along with this project. Once I get the exhaust off I can get the headers on and get this project rolling. I am trying to get this finished before I leave for VA in the next 3-4 weeks.
