I was thinking about doing the same thing with mine....Except Blue. How long did it take? I was thinking of taking sandpaper to it and then painting it. When my new hood gets painted, I was planning on using the left over to do the same thing.

I bought a tip off a guy in here.. In about a month Im doing dual exhaust on the truck and running dual factory tips. I gave 65.00 for it.

Just wondering if it was anyone in here. Had both brake ducts (fml)good condition truck. After market hood... Looked like garage pro Cowl hood.

yes. to both. The maf was cleaned prior to install...I hope I don't have to replace them...

(first off Im not sure what forum to put this in. so I apologize.) Ever since I have put on the Volant CAI/RA Tube my check engine light has came on. Its showing O2 sensors....multiple. Is the CAI affecting the sensors or are the sensors just deciding to crap out on me...? Anybody have any issues like this or know of issues? or thoughts on what it may be?

I had that happen to me..I bought the MAF cleaner spray...and that issue went away. It may just be dirty

Funding is not an Issue.... That is something I dont really have to worry about. Im not a millionaire or anything like that but I do pretty well. I am going to get it tuned. I will do more engine work before this summer hits. The headers are going to be put on within the next month once it warms up and what not. Right now Im battling Check Engine Light lol. Every since i installed the CAI/RA Tube my O2' sensors are going crazy. Its really starting to piss me off...

Basically im going to lump this in the No Go pile of ideas! Thanks guys.

I haven't seen any videos of them doing a dyno with or without. Just brainstorming on shit to buy. I figure I got the financial means...why not splurge..but I don't want to splurge on crap that is useless lol

Anybody running one of these? I have the Volant CAI w/ R.A. Does anybody out there have one of these Throttle Body Spacer's installed? Any Gains Worth The Money? Any Input would be nice. Thank You Guys (& Gal's if there are any)

40.00 obo...I don't need them. I ended up with these and I don't want them...I have no use for them and maybe somebody wants them if not..they are going to be awesome paperweights. They are black....not silver those are the only pictures I could find because I didn't take pictures on my phone. Brand New.

I ended up going with VOLANT...I just ordered the Ram Air Tube For It From Summit Racing...its not due to arrive till APR 7. I got both from summit racing. They have awesome pricing compared to JCWHITNEY. I love JCWHITNEY its where I got alot of my stuff for my Sierra. I have to say though Summit Racing has some awesome prices.

I contacted BORLA trying to get exhaust for my SS. Asked me for engine size and told them 6.0 The guy at Borla informed me they dont have anything for the Silverado in 6.0 only thing they had for 6.0 was headers. I told him I have headers. He said I dont think you can do it. I said I have seen a SS with borla exhaust and he said the biggest size they have is 5.3. I am trying to figure out what all I can do to fix this issue. I am going to be running the pipes out in front of the rear tires and put on my dual factory tips. Anybody else out there have BORLA Cat Backs on their SS?? Any help or information would be appreciated.

I used to be stationed in CALI. Thank god I didn't have one then...and good to know mine will never grace that state. Then again hell will have to freeze over before I go back to cali...
