  1. Ironically since you say that, when I ground my test light and touch those wires the fans would kick on. One one wire the would run on low and then high on the other side. So when I get this tune, that will tell the pcm to ground those pin slots for 33 and 42 so the fans will kick on when the parameters are met for each of those pins?

Correct... That's a good thing! Just get that thing tuned... And while your getting it tuned for fans you can tell your tuner any other mods you have such as Cold air intake, headers or what not.. These trucks really wake up with slight adjustments.. Just tuning the transmission will make it feel like a different animal.

  2. Should be pretty straight forward if it has the right harness. Cant remember which one i purchased but it was pretty straight forward...As to what they hacked before you got the truck there's no telling. I added two 12's under the back seat with a amp wire ran straight from the battery and a remote turn on of the harness itself...if you have it this weekend i'll be in houston and will take a look at it if you still need some help.

  3. Yes they should. I built my own harness with triggers to the relays to control low and high... I'm not familiar with the factory harness or how it's wired so not much help on that side.. But you should be able to ground those wires and see if you have low and high speed...

  4. No they will not run. Your truck came with a clutch fan so it's programmed in the pcm to see them.. You need EFI or HP tuners to turn them on..

Right now it sees no fans... This is the way it came from the factory... You have to set the PCM to see serial Fans... You'll basically have to pay a tuner or someone who has the software... It will cost you a least the amount of the credit and whatever the tuner charges for his time...

  6. Question for all the turbo guys out there. My current set up is a 76mm with Edelbrock pro-flow intake...My turbo response is somewhere 3400-3600 range. Quicker if i hold the brake for a bit on the stall.. few options i was looking into. i still have the L92 truck intake i bought by mistake last year so option one could involve a L92 head swap. Option two would involve just picking up a new 5.3 intake. the whole idea is to pick up some more grunt down low. I only spin the motor to 5900-6100 at the max. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated as this spring she needs to come back apart to install the Cam and new lifters..So fire away guys...

I know that it's got to be popular just from all I've heard about on shows. Looks like it shouldn't be too much different than cooking shrimp and I've got plenty of practice at that.

Sort of... I add my crawfish to the strainer basket and set off to the side... Once my water reaches full boil I drop them in cover the lid and drink two beers... Shut the fire off and add a 20# bag of ice and let soak for say three or four more beers... Throw them in the cooler and sprinkle with some crawfish boil... The Ice cools the water off enough that the crawfish quit cooking and just start soaking up the flavor...so for a sack of crawfish you need roughly 6 beers lol..

I hate you all ... lol ... Looks so good ...

So ... what I'm hearing is that we have another LVD Weekend, you'll come on up and cook us big pot full of Crawfish? ... All we have to do is have them shipped overnight .... Hmmmm, your on !!!!! ....

We should have a LVD & BBQ cook-off weekend. ....

Hell yea I will... What LVD BTW?
