LOL I bet I have to change out the Throttle body on my truck soon. Not sure if it gets too dirty (even though I only sometimes drive it on the weekend) or the sensor is going bad. It has done "engine reduce power" twice on me and looked it up and it's the throttle body that's dirty. I clean it and works fine. I want to eliminate that by getting a new one. I think it's the sensor though because when I clean the throttle body, it's not that dirty on the inside. We shall see if that does the trick. I'm going to get the OEM by the end of this week and replace it on the weekend, since it's pretty simple to change : )

Good Luck locating it. Not sure what part of California you are located, but I did a search on Offerup by typing "Silverado ss" and there are 2 emblems selling in the Los Angeles area. Not sure if they are still available, but if you are close by you can check it out.

for the door lights you would have to get T10 LED lights https://www.ebay.com/itm/10Pcs-T10-194-168-W5W-CANBUS-Xenon-White-Interior-Reading-Marker-LED-Light-Bulbs/153124626540?hash=item23a6f0606c:g:2oQAAOSwAllbYsZA(these are really small and are also compatible with 194) you can copy the link to your browser, but those are for the doors.The regular 194 LED Bulb won't fit the door. For the Map Dome Light I got 12-SMD 1.72" 42mm 578 211-2 LED Bulbs on ebay as well https://www.ebay.com/itm/4-White-12-SMD-1-72-42mm-578-211-2-LED-Bulbs-For-Car-Interior-Map-Dome-Lights/141838931489?hash=item2106425621:g:nw8AAOSwG9Zbgh9f The puddle lights on the mirror I have not replaced because I tried to remove the cover and I feel like I'm going to break it, so don't want to mess with it. Hey El Yeff I stay in LA too, hopefully we can run into each other. Its hard to see people here in LA with an ISS. As for the column lock, thats a good idea. Where did you get yours? Im guessing you are right Richard regarding social media. FB never caught my attention, so I have never opened an account, but the people that I know and have one say its pure drama lol. I will stick to this site and ask questions and make friends.

These trucks are old, yes, but still in style and in high demand! I picked up my ISS 2 years ago and man, everywhere I go I get complements! just a couple of days ago I was pumping gas on my truck and this guy asked me if I would sell it to him and of course I said NO. I have invested some money into my truck, like new paint job, 26 inch rims, double din stereo and I still have to take care of some small stuff, like redo the headliner, replace the side windows because I can hear the wind when I'm driving, replace the shocks and add fog lights. This is a work in progress, but have to do it because it's my baby and love it. The only problem I see at least here in California, is that everywhere I go I have to keep an eye on it because there's always someone that wants to steal it. I have come on this site and asked questions and have always been treated with respect and people are very helpful. I'm glad I found this site!
