  1. Yes, I am going to do that. Thinking about this, family member is a lawyer, he may do it for a small fee. Thats about what happen.
  2. Cleaned up the cowl and new wiper arms. Install SS mirriors. Also I order new black mirror covers at Rockauto.com the ones on now have a few niks and I'm picky bastard, they came black that are the same on the mirrors. Its says in the description not painted but them match up just fine.
  3. Grumpytony, when I was look to buy it was quite wide of what guys wanted, average was $8K to $23k, depend on what they have done. A stock RCSB depend on what year and shape can vary from $3k to $10k, and Blue book for my 2003 Regular Cab Short box was $8600. Trans plant 6.0 cost vary depending on the price you pay for the motor and if you do the install or pay someone else, and if you don't like the color and want new paint average $5-$7 for a professional job. SS cladding, Total interior, wheels, tire, suspension, is up in the air for your cost. of the deals you find. So the average with most of this done I see at $14K well under what the prior paid for everything. I paid less, and it came with the 6.0 new paint, full SS interior, full SS cladding, the suspension,( which I bought new and replaced, So since I have had it I have put another $2k into it, and my time.
  4. If most of you, like me have never used a auto carrier, here is my experience. I hired Eshiptransport (broker) to ship my Silverado SS Clone, first most of these companies are brokers and don't have there own auto carriers, they give you a quote and call and find a trucking company that will do it for less and make a few hundred. So you sign a contract with the broker for the price and delivery time. But the broker insurance will not cover any damage, so when it comes time you do not have a contract with the trucking company. And they blow it off and if they did nothing and to go after there driver. So Eshipstrasport hired SGC Inc Carrier to pick up my truck, I told Eship my truck was a low riding truck and to make sure they knew that. They said they did. SGC Inc Carrier showed and and ran it up on the ramps and scraped the front cover and broke off the air duct, braking the tab off and scuffing them both up. Small but repaint and air ducts are not cheap. So do to this I'm having a hard time getting my damage paid for, I sent them 3 estimates, and average of $700 dollars to repaint the front bumper and to replace the damage air duct. They just flat out said were not paying for it. So read your contract and get a signed contract also with the auto carrier and all there insurance information.
  5. I bought my truck with the cladding already on. For the oem there is brackets to install on some of the cladding areas. I'm not sure how the fiberglass cladding is installed. Google Silverado SS cladding and there is quite a few pics of the brackets.
  6. Nice truck Ramon, I also have heard the fit is not right, but I have not seen it on a truck, but I would hold out until you find a oem cladding set, with the hardware, not sure how they install the fiberglass pieces. I also have a single cab clone SS and a oem cladding all the way around.
  7. Not mine I'm just passing it along if anyone needs one. Code 691 Very Dark Pewter http://www.ebay.com/itm/311469560941?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

  10. I saw your pics looks nice, what size of tires are you running and are they rubbing at all.
  11. SAE-parts had them for a while, but looks like there out, keep an eye on ebay.
  12. Working on interior, adding Grant Steering Wheel with controls, and cluster and other with Blue LEDs, Cleaned and painted front frame, plugs and wires, new fuse box, radiator covers, Volant CAI, hood cable, windshield wiper container and hoses. Before After Tires are on 285/35/22 in back and they just barely rub, may have to do a fender roll.
  13. Autoanything.com also look at the Volant for CAI. Part #151536 At 244.79 with $25 Rebate and free shipping.
  14. Looks good Bjorn, I 'll agree I have had a few trucks in my time an wish I would of kept them, back then I didn't have the money so I had to upgrade and sell the other for a dayly driver.
  15. Keep the truck and use it as a everyday driver and get the Camaro for the nice days. I bought my Camaro RS/SS in 2010 and it has just over 4,000 miles on it, the truck sits outside, doen't hurt it. I still get the thumbs up on the SSS and now I get them with the RSCB Clone SS.
