The moderators are doing a good job keeping the board organized. They are deleting unnecessary things from topics as well...like me going off the other day b/c of the BS flag. I would hate to have to keep track of a large forum like this so my hats off to the ones making a good and respectful site.

Damn dude that sucks . Where was your truck sitting when they got to it? I am surprised the alarm did not go off at all.
-
Nice pics...

Seems a little steep. The timing belt change out is probably a PITA depending on the model. I would venture to say that most of the quote is labor just looking at the tasks involved.
-
Nice looking picture...How do they run now with the PCMforless installed?
-
WOW...guess there is no need for the trunk monkey system.
That definitely was a sweet story and they are damn lucky it turned out in their favor.

Nice looking rides

The dude cracked me up...let me sit in here a little longer and see if I can get hit by poo
I would have been out of there in a flash....

http://www.titantalk.com/forums/titan-prob...dealer-service/
I didn't need to look any further into owning a titan after reading thru this forum board and the amount of problems per owner! It is staggering reading some of the complaints and makes Chevy look like Toyota as far as dependability goes! This truck without question hands down is the winner of the least reliable truck award!Christ some never even got 2,000 miles on there truck before it left them on the side of the road stranded!
I have seen these on there b/c I am a member there as well. A lot of the Titan problems were with the first year model (which can be somewhat expected). I would venture to say that in the long run Nissan will be putting together a more reliable truck then most of the so-called big three...and probably won't be stealing design features like Chevy.

I'm going to look over her company's policy as soon as she gets it to me. If they have the legal right to fire her for this, then I'll let it go. Hopefully she can draw unemployement while she looks for another job and works on getting her GED. It's probably for the best, that place is the dump. The pay is really low and the managment is full of idiots .
After talking to my wife, who is in Human Resources, about this I am correct on the policy side of it. Your mom could file for unemployment and in most cases companies will not dispute it...at least that is what the wife says. She deals with hiring/firing/unemployment all the time so I would say she is right...just don't tell her that.
I know it is hard to deal with but from the sounds of it your mom may be better off in a different place. It is tough to make a change after such a long time but it is sometimes a necessary thing to do.

Some people these days need to just be exterminated The world is full of idiots who have nothing better to do then these immature acts.
Hope it is just a threat and not for real.

I am in charge of Safety for my company and work within the HR department as well. Being fired for Safety reasons is an all too common thing...unfortunately. If the company has a handbook and it has a safety section then more then likely it reads something similar to "violations of safety rules can result in disciplinary action up to and including termination."
I know this sucks but if the company has it stated in their policies then it is very tough to win a case (depending on the state you live in). If your state is an "At Will" state then the employer can technically fire someone at any time and one can quit at any time.
Good luck with your research but I have a feeling that it will be very tough to win anything.

That was awesome...nice videos and racing. Looks like you guys had a great time.

Them things have so much room and u can get a pretty kick sound system! Nice choice I like that silver!
The room in the crew cab is unbelievable. That was a huge selling point for me b/c with my recent marriage I have inherited 3 step children...so more room was needed.
I know everyone on here loves their SS (as I really enjoyed mine) but some are just way too quick to bash others choice of trucks. Thanks to those who gave positive comments.

Sorry to hear that...

[No no the new body ones. The interiors are really really nice in the new silverados.
Yea, FINALLY....after every other big name beefed up their looks
looks like the new silverado but with nissan emblems
they look disgutingly similar... IMO
looks like the new silverado but with nissan emblemsYou mean looks like the Titan but with the Chevy emblems
Exactly! Chevy has taken a little bit from Nissan and others to make the new Silverado...WOW that was difficult from an engineering standpoint.
plus titans are slow
Not as slow as you think...drive one and you will see. It is definitely no comparison to the SS

whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy those trucks are horrible, you should of just got a 2007 vmax
I must disagree with you on the "horrible". I tend to like it and it serves my purpose, which is all I care about. I enjoyed my SS a lot and miss it sometimes but I am happy with my choice. If I could have found as good a deal on a crew cab silverado I would have thought about it, but I was really tired of the same old interior and the steep prices, even on a used one.

Looks like you guys had a good turnout. Nice pics

No punchline...but I converted to the dark side a few months back when I got rid of my SS

The trash flying out of the bed of your truck was a nice touch
