I’m also accepting orders for another run of embroidered Silverado SS shirts.

These shirts received good reviews in the past so this run will be the same as last time.

Several people have asked about knit beanie caps.

There's been enough interest to offer them in 3 colors:

    Black, Graphite & Military Camo.

Each will have a small embroidered SS – black stitching on the camo and silver on the other 2.

They’ll be $13 each and ship free with the purchase of a shirt.

If purchased by themselves shipping will be extra.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To have your name added to the list and for payment info please send me a PM.

Please specify the size, style & color of what you're ordering and include your real name.

If you have any questions, please let me know,

remember, the order deadline is Sunday, November 1, 2009

    Thanks,

    Stewart

  2. I spoke with my source today. It's a small shop that does high quality work.

She said they've been buried with orders for hockey uniforms and promised

she'd put the quote together this weekend. I hope and expect to be able to

    post information by midweek.

Thanks again for your patience. I'll let all of you know what I find out as soon as I can.

  3. If you can strap them to a pallet and they're being delivered to someplace with a dock,

    I think you'll find FREIGHTQUOTE.com very reasonable.

I've used them several times and they were much cheaper than any other method.

If a truck dock is not available, items can usually be picked up at a terminal.

  4. Here's what I'm working on:

    Screen-printed hoodies.

9 oz. 50/50 cotton/poly fleece (medium weight, same as previous orders)

Available both without zipper and full zipper (zipper will cost more)

4 basic colors (black, red, blue, heather grey) but many more are available including pink.

Adult sizes range from S-4X, youth sizes are available XS(2-4)-XL(18-20)

Specific ladies cut shirts may be available - let me know what you prefer

Tailgate logo both front and back- small on left front, large across back

The embroidered t-shirts, polos, sweatshirts and hoodies like the previous orders will also be available, click here for thread.

Pricing is TBD. I expect them to be slightly higher than the last order.

I believe shipping costs have increased in the last 18 months (among other things).

Only shirts paid for in advance will be produced and PayPal will be accepted (along with personal checks and money orders).

I learned long ago that it's impossible to make everyone happy at the same time.

The 3 previous orders have proven I can provide a quality product with good service.

If the above doesn't work for the majority of interested members let me know and I won't waste any more time on it.

If response is positive I'll determine pricing and start taking orders.

  5. I'd be happy to produce another run of embroidered hoodies (or polos or t-shirts) if there's enough interest.

If anyone would like to add these to your wardrobe, please send me a PM.

I don't have any photos here at work of the shirts and hoodies I've offered in the past. If anyone has any, please post them up.

The search function failed to come up with the old thread.

    Thanks!

  6. Welcome back Stewart! Good to see you are never satisfied...me too

So, what are the plans???? :driving:

Thanks everyone. It's good to be back!

It's not that I wasn't satisfied with the power. My biggest problem was lack of traction.

    Until this happened......

    The slow-moving plan includes:

forged pistons and just enough machine work to clean up the cylinder.

  7. After nearly 3 months of not being able to access the SilveradoSS.com website I can finally get on!

Several members suggested I download Firefox to see if that helped. The first few times it didn’t work

any better that IE but this time it worked.

Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions to fix the problem.

To those of you who sent unanswered PM’s:

I wasn’t ignoring you, I just couldn’t read what you had to say.

Here’s the latest photo of my truck:

    It’s still pretty clean!

  8. Reminds me of the trucks that Marlboro (the cigarette company) made. They were early modified early 90's Syclones (like found here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Marlboro-GM...%3A1|240%3A1318 or eBay item number 330302400433. They had a slide down rear window, I never found out who made it though. Might be a good starting point :dunno:

Those trucks were actually built by ASC in Southgate, MI. They're the same company that built the Buick GNX's. I worked there at the time. The power rear window was a kit. I don't know who made it. At the time I owned a RCSB GMC Sonoma and I looked into it. I decided against it because it took up 3"-4" of space behind the seats and I drove with the seat all the way back.

    Good luck with your project.
