I just posted ordering info for hoodies, t-shirts, polos, sweatshirts and knit beanies.
It's alot of information so please read carefully.

By popular demand I’m currently accepting orders for screen
printed Hoodies in both Pullover and full Zip styles.
These will have a small Silverado SS (tailgate style) logo on the
left front and a large version on the back.
The high quality 9-ounce 50/50 cotton/poly fleece feature a
kangaroo pocket and are available in 5 colors –
black, blue, red, ash & white.
(Add’l colors can be special ordered if you just gotta have
something else.)
Orders will be accepted thru Sunday, November 1, 2009
Adult sizes S thru XL are $40 each with 48 state shipping included.
Add $3 each for sizes 2XL & 3XL. 4XL is also available.
Youth and ladies shirts are available – PM me with your requests.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m also accepting orders for another run of embroidered Silverado SS shirts.
These shirts received good reviews in the past so this run will be the same as last time.
These will be embroidered shirts with "Silverado SS" on the left front and
"SS" on the upper back in small letters.
The embroidery on the gray shirts will be black to stand out better.
The prices below are for S thru XL and include 48 state shipping.
Add $3 for larger sizes.
T-shirt $27
Polo $40
Sweat Shirt $40
Pullover Hoodie $45
Full Zip Hoodie $45
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Several people have asked about knit beanie caps.
There's been enough interest to offer them in 3 colors:
Black, Graphite & Military Camo.
Each will have a small embroidered SS – black stitching on the camo and silver on the other 2.
They’ll be $13 each and ship free with the purchase of a shirt.
If purchased by themselves shipping will be extra.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To have your name added to the list and for payment info please send me a PM.
Please specify the size, style & color of what you're ordering and include your real name.
If you have any questions, please let me know,
remember, the order deadline is Sunday, November 1, 2009
Thanks,
Stewart

I finally received pricing information today and will start an order thread this weekend.
Thanks again for your patience.

Happy B-Day everyone
Wow, Mike and Craig are getting up there
Part of the "Over the Hill Gang" right there!
Brian, what's that old saying about the pot and the kettle?
-
I spoke with my source today. It's a small shop that does high quality work.
She said they've been buried with orders for hockey uniforms and promised
she'd put the quote together this weekend. I hope and expect to be able to
post information by midweek.
Thanks again for your patience. I'll let all of you know what I find out as soon as I can.

Nothing yet, I'm still waiting for the pricing info.

I'm still waiting on final pricing info. When I have it, I'll start a new thread.
Thanks for your patience.
-
I own a pair and have been very happy with them.
-
If you can strap them to a pallet and they're being delivered to someplace with a dock,
I think you'll find FREIGHTQUOTE.com very reasonable.
I've used them several times and they were much cheaper than any other method.
If a truck dock is not available, items can usually be picked up at a terminal.

Here's what I'm working on:
Screen-printed hoodies.
9 oz. 50/50 cotton/poly fleece (medium weight, same as previous orders)
Available both without zipper and full zipper (zipper will cost more)
4 basic colors (black, red, blue, heather grey) but many more are available including pink.
Adult sizes range from S-4X, youth sizes are available XS(2-4)-XL(18-20)
Specific ladies cut shirts may be available - let me know what you prefer
Tailgate logo both front and back- small on left front, large across back
The embroidered t-shirts, polos, sweatshirts and hoodies like the previous orders will also be available, click here for thread.
Pricing is TBD. I expect them to be slightly higher than the last order.
I believe shipping costs have increased in the last 18 months (among other things).
Only shirts paid for in advance will be produced and PayPal will be accepted (along with personal checks and money orders).
I learned long ago that it's impossible to make everyone happy at the same time.
The 3 previous orders have proven I can provide a quality product with good service.
If the above doesn't work for the majority of interested members let me know and I won't waste any more time on it.
If response is positive I'll determine pricing and start taking orders.

i like the hoodies in the prvious post but i would like something big on the back instaed of the little ss
What would you like to see on the back?
-
I'd be happy to produce another run of embroidered hoodies (or polos or t-shirts) if there's enough interest.
If anyone would like to add these to your wardrobe, please send me a PM.
I don't have any photos here at work of the shirts and hoodies I've offered in the past. If anyone has any, please post them up.
The search function failed to come up with the old thread.
Thanks!

Here's one solution:
Another idea would be to tape the brackets on with 3M double stick tape then
rivet them on when you're sure they're in the correct place

and where were u at sunday imposster?? j/k I really dig ur truck, clean as hell!!
Thanks! With my truck looking like this:
and me without a tow vehicle it won't be going anywhere soon.
I will be in Indy in 2 weeks with my DD.

Joe Isuzu.
Nice response Brian.

I see new Camaro's on the road almost every day, most of them V6's.
I had the opportunity to drive a silver SS a couple weeks ago.
Even though it was an automatic it was still very cool!

Welcome back Stewart! Good to see you are never satisfied...me too
So, what are the plans????
Thanks everyone. It's good to be back!
It's not that I wasn't satisfied with the power. My biggest problem was lack of traction.
Until this happened......
The slow-moving plan includes:
forged pistons and just enough machine work to clean up the cylinder.

After nearly 3 months of not being able to access the SilveradoSS.com website I can finally get on!
Several members suggested I download Firefox to see if that helped. The first few times it didn’t work
any better that IE but this time it worked.
Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions to fix the problem.
To those of you who sent unanswered PM’s:
I wasn’t ignoring you, I just couldn’t read what you had to say.
Here’s the latest photo of my truck:
It’s still pretty clean!

I found the career builder commercial just plain annoying.
I thought the Miller High Life ad was pretty good for being only one second long.
-
$5,000 OBO shipped.
I knew those ducts were expensive but I don't remember them being that much!
-
Nice Driver!
My brother has one for a DD (with a mild Zippy tune) and he loves it.
-
I only have 1 can left,and I think they discontinued it,but if you want it,it's your's!
Too many times I've said "So do any of you girls want some of my Dicken's Cider ?" And then they took me up on it!!!........the drink of course!
I want a can! I thought that was just a Bob & Tom commercial, not a real product.

Reminds me of the trucks that Marlboro (the cigarette company) made. They were early modified early 90's Syclones (like found here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Marlboro-GM...%3A1|240%3A1318 or eBay item number 330302400433. They had a slide down rear window, I never found out who made it though. Might be a good starting point
Those trucks were actually built by ASC in Southgate, MI. They're the same company that built the Buick GNX's. I worked there at the time. The power rear window was a kit. I don't know who made it. At the time I owned a RCSB GMC Sonoma and I looked into it. I decided against it because it took up 3"-4" of space behind the seats and I drove with the seat all the way back.
Good luck with your project.
