  1. Common guys, any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Hey guys, some of you know that im getting ready to put in my new stroker motor and the only thing im waiting for now is the sheetmetal intake. There almost finished with the intake but I need them to weld in some sort of connections for the vac lines. Its the first truck style sheetmetal theyve done so I figured it would be alot easier if they had a LQ9 truck intake on hand for reference for the vac lines etc. Since you radix guys eliminate your intake I was wondering if someone would loan me there intake. If someone would be willing to help me out I will pay for the shipping and handling plus throw in $20. Help is greatly appreciated guys. Thanks.
  3. We have a house 15 miles south of blythe right on the river. Theres always quite a few people camping there as well. Very UN crowded on the river in that area, and theres a ton of places to offroad on the dirtbikes there as well.
  4. Snowed at my house in moreno valley this morning.
  5. Yup its at the house. Come by anytime and check it out.
  6. Well I finally got the shortblock today. Should be another 2-3 weeks to get the heads ported and get my sheetmetal intake. So hopefully she'll be up and running in about a month and a half. Sorry no pics. Girlfriend broke my camera.
  7. As long as the motor home is there im there.
  8. you going to have a motor ready adam? or you going to go get some lq9 numbers? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hopefully the new motor.
  9. Can we still get the group buy price on these hoods? I dont know how I missed this thread.
  10. What a bunch of wannabees. Bring those guys down to the real hood and see how long they last.
  11. I seen chase's truck in person today and the paint job looks awesome. The pictures definately dont do it justice.
  12. Well the motor should be done in about a week (just waiting for the cam now) then it should be a couple weeks after that when my sheetmetal intake will be done. After they ship me the motor im going to take the heads into Richard at WCCH and have him put new valves in and port the heads. Then the motor will go in. Assuming it will take me about a month to get it up and running, it should be running by the end of january or early february.
  13. As of right now im going to keep the yank 3000 in there.
  14. The heads cost me $850 fully assembled. Add another thousand for some head work and for under 2k you have heads that should flow around 350/250. Another reason for going with those heads is my engine builder gave me a huge discount on sheetmetal intake to go along with the heads because he's trying to prove how good the L-92 heads really are. On a side note I ended up going with a 242/248 on a 114 for the cam.
  15. I'm with Dylan on this one!! Go bigger though. How much the entire thing run you? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When its all said and done about 10 grand.
  16. You can say that again. Atleast you will have a chance passing smog....I wont have a chance in hell.
  17. Zippy could you go into more detail about this? Im trying to make a decision this weekend so any advice would be appreciated.
  18. That shit looks badass. Cant wait to see it in person.
  19. Yes im going with the L-92's. They will be ported though by Richard at WCCH and he thinks he will be able to get 350cfm on the intake and 250cfm on the exhaust side. Do you still think I would need such a great split between the intake and exhaust if he can get the exhaust side to flow in the 240's or 250? Also keep in mind I will be using a sheetmetal intake.
  20. So my motor is being built. Long story so dont ask. So now im trying to decide on a cam size. Alan at futral motorsports suggested a 243\250-114. My engine builders cam guy suggested a 238/248 113LSA XER lope which seems kinda small to me. He suggested i didn't go any bigger because of the my heavy truck. What do you guys think? Keep in mind my motor is a 436ci".
  21. Obviously the radix is the easiest to install, but I still dont understand why everybody says its the best daily driver blower out there.
