  1. It is a tough job....but anyhow....driving the speeds you claimed and doing the things you were doing are stupid and irresponsible enough without doing it while towing a boat!!!! Add in the boat....and well....you told it well enough that we all get a picture of what type of person you are.
  2. Here are two different ones... http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.ph...wtopic=4239&hl= http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.ph...wtopic=5053&hl=
  3. I think doing something like this is pretty stupid, but doing it while towing a boat was just plain asinine. And as far as discussing it in a mature way, I'm pretty sure you would not have been able to do that based upon your decisions you made during your "chase". I think you proved you were as much as or even more of an **** than the other driver was!!
  4. Actually my stripes are silver metallic, it's just hard to see the real color in the pics I posted. I want to do a new style stripe that is a bit longer, but haven't had the time to do so. Maybe when I finish the new design, I will take these off. I am just afraid that if I take them off I will not like it without the stripes and will not have a new one designed yet.
  5. Well, I was looking at my truck the other day, and wondering what it would look like without the stripes. I am seriously considering taking them off for a while. I might re-design them and make a set myself, but I was looking for opinions. I did a crappy retouch of a pic I had, and I am torn both ways.
  6. 20% on the SS, and when I just had my 2006 Crew Done, the guy said 13% matches the factory best. It might be a matter of the tint manufacturer as well. If you go to a tint shop, they shuold know what the best is if you want to match the rears. If his truck is already tinted over the factory tint on the rear windows, then none of this matters.

    My SSS vs. GTO

How did those tires hook up?
  8. If you get it from a truck with the same color interior.... And it is not leather on the rear seat...it's pleather.
  9. There is nothing special about a rear seat in an SS. Any Ext Cab seat from an LT trim truck will be the same.
  10. Thanks guys, if I get my copy soon, I will have the pages scanned so I can post them. I see this as being a good advertising/marketing tool for my business with current and future customers. I will be making copies to distribute to customers.
  11. ... Yeah ... I'll give you that .... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That was fun....
  12. Do you have any way to scan the pages? I need to see it now.... The guy that bought my Glascraft Bedliner machine sprayed an entire 78 F250 from bumper to bumper and takes it to shows. You should see the looks it gets, and everyone that walks past has to touch it.
  13. Thanks, I wish I would have had my new wheels on it, but I sent pics with the original wheels and the Konigs I had before these.
  14. Thanks...I didn't get the Mag yet, but I submitted a bunch of different Vehicles I did. I think I sent a couple Mustangs and Chargers. Did any of the others make it or did you just see the SS? If you get the mag, there is a certain issue that tells you how to submit vehicles for judging. I sent everything via e-mail. Now I can't wait to see it!!!! My first award and first published pic of a personal or customer vehicle in a Mag!!!
  15. I would rather pay the $35.00 and get it fixed myself. I don't have the time for a dealer to mess with my truck and take a chance of them scratching the paint trying to replace the window. It is fixed and I am happy, if you want to be cheap and keep taking it to the dealer(who doesn't have a fix as mentioned earlier) then waste your time and still have a noisy window air leak. You need to put a value on your time, and mine is worth more than $35.00 for the time I would waste at a dealer and STILL NOT have the issue resolved.
  16. Finally got mine and had a chance to install them. I took it on the highway Saturday night and could not hear any wind noise. The best $35.00 mod I have done to date!!!
  17. I ordered mine last night too.
  18. Found the ebay link.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Wind-Noise-...sspagenameZWDVW
  19. the problem I have with them replacing the window assembly is the fact that the window is glued in and needs to be cut out. A friend of mine owns a glass company, and he said you take the chance of scratching the truck when cutting the old one out. I would like to find these pieces or possible design a new one to take care of this problem.
  20. Anyone here ever see or hear of replacing the center part of the latch on the leaky rear extended cab windows? I had mine to the dealer for replacement, and it is no better than before. A friend of mine I haven't seen in 15 years was over tonight looking at my truck and mentioned that he bought some replacement "arms" for his 2000 Silverado extended cab window latch. I guess they are a little bit longer than the original ones and therefor pull the window tighter. He said he bought them from a guy on ebay for about $15.00. If they work they are worth the money. If anyone knows what I am talking about please help. Thanks
  21. It sounds like he has the lower valence piece that mounts below the bumper. This piece mounts below that one. I don't think it matters if the vehicle has tow hooks or fogs for this piece.
  22. I don't remember the part number I got, but the list price was only about $25.00. $93.00 is probably the wrong part.
  23. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery....As far as giving up the info, you(Premeirs SS) just jumped in and took over so I sat back and watched. At least I know I was the first.....Nobody told you to do anything for any one. And I don't remember anyone asking you either, so get over yourself.
