I'm having the same intermittent problem. It blows cold and then all of a sudden hot.
  2. Ok, Ok, I'm in! You guys sure know how to twist someones arm! Where do I send the Paypal and when? For you with the rollpans, how does the license plate holder/light attach to the pan. Does it screw directly into the fiberglass?
  3. Just do it man. It would definately finish off your truck nicely. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know, I know!!!! Plus I had a guy park on my rear bumper not too long ago. I'd also like to know if this is the old mold or a new one? If a new one, what is the difference between the two?
  4. I've been tempted over and over to get one of these. Is there a closing date for this?
  5. As big as you are you should have took one to the dome when he started yapping all that sh*t! What a eff'n ! Anyway you look at it, if they want it, they'll get it. Like P said, make sure your premiums are all paid up. I don't worry about anyone taking my truck, I just say, if they take it, that will just help me upgrade!
  6. Those are some REAL shorts! Sh*t I think my boxers are longer than those! to you P for having the courage to post that pic up.
  7. Ya, get the f**k out! J/K
  8. Damn, must be nice having a money tree in your backyard! Looks good, hows it sound?
  9. I like the Flowmaster exhaust with the Magnaflow tips, covering all the bases I see! I also like the use of the straps!
  10. Like I always say, common sense isn't all that common! You should have told them you knew Jon and if they didn't help you out, you would have him call them.
  11. Ya I remember! Jon had brought that up and I think I posted a pic of where we thought it needed to be reinforced. I have seen what these brackets go through when put on a lift. Everytime I need to take my truck somewhere where it needs to go on a lift, I tell them to use jacks for this exact reason. On another note, at least they are taking care of the problem. If it happened once, it probably will happen again so they better get ready for it. Also, it never said anything about NOT puting the truck on a lift after installing these bags so how could that fly. One question............ Why is the bag assembly so far from the leaf pack? Is it on a lift in this pic?
  12. I have that PAC piece and there are certain things that I cannot do with my IVA-D310. I cannot change tracks on a CD or my iPod. I've been told the "older" PAC piece with the infared eye does it all. If your running that Alpine amp with an Alpine HU I don't think you need to run an RCA to it. The Ai-Net cable takes care of that for you. I know with my Alpine theater amp (MRA-D550), I didn't run any rca's at all since that amp has a place for me to run my sub amp off of it as well. I didn't run any new wire for the interior speakers, really no need to IMHO. All you have to do is tap into the excisting wire behind the HU and run them to your amps. Plus if you ever decide to put it back to stock everything is still there. Search for my username, I made a post about the wire colors. Yes it will work. That is exactly how mine is set up.
  13. Did you get the remote option? I have it and LOVE IT! I also had them hard wire a switched light under the lid for those hard to see moments.
  14. Usually, the way it goes is all the empty containers are loaded on top of the loads for the very reason you are talking about.
  15. Snapped a few more pics last night. This is the view from my office! Ship being escorted out of port. These are 20' containers being loaded into the hold of the ship. Here is the spreader attached to a 20' being loaded into the hold. Another one of the spreader landing a can into the hold. Pics of the actual hold of the ship.
  16. Make sure you let us know how the ride is with the new shocks.
  17. One word for you, KARMA! What you did will be done to you ten fold somewhere down the line. You did the right thing in my book although I don't know if I would have been so nice after asking a few times and him acting the way he did. I would have at least called the guy and @$$hole! BTW: I found $57.00 attached to a money clip at work a few months ago and it's still sitting in my truck to this day. I totally believe in karma hence the reason for not spending it. I won't turn it in because I know whoever I turn it into to will spend it. I feel the same way!
  18. I just measured the El Camino. 16'L X 3'H @ the hood, so that would be backed into the garage. I also measured the height of my current garage door which is 7'-1/4" from floor to garage door rolled up. I'm assuming I would measure 3' (height of El Camino's hood to floor) down from the garage door to get the headroom which is 4'-1/4" minus another 4" for the ramp thickness. That measures a little under 4'. Can that be right? Looking at this pic, the garage seems to roll up alot higher than mine does now. It looks like it goes up then over. Mine is basically as high as the opening of the garage door. If you look at the other garage door, that is how mine is set up. It looks like I'll have to go the the city and find out what the height limit of a garage is and go from there. If I go by that 64" (pic) from the floor to the bottom of the ramps and add 55" (height of the cab of the El Camino), I'd need at least a 10' ceiling. This is hella confusing this early!
  19. We are in the planning stages with our new addition to our home (1200 Sq. Ft.) which includes a 21' X 21' (441 Sq. Ft.) two car garage, who really cares about anything else right? I'm looking to add a vehicle lift inside it to store my 1966 El Camino up in the air and give me more floor space when I need it. Here is something like what I'm talking about. I mentioned this idea to my Architect and he told me he could raise the cross beams to something like 9' instead of something like 8'-6" for more clearance. I haven't done any calculations as far as the amount of space I will need since I got back late last night. I guess I need to measure the height of the El Camino and the height of the proposed garage door as well. I was just wondering if any of you have this in your garage and what exactly I need to measure for. From what I understand, these residential lifts are designed to fit in "standard sized" garages where no modifications need to be done. Any input would be great! Brands????? Sites???? TIA
  20. Have they made this possible to hook up to, let's say my Alpine system? That would be great since I did away with my XM tuner, but am still subscribed. It would be nice to take it out of the truck and go like the iPod.
  21. I think you meant to say that I wasn't hatin on his truck and it's true, I didn't. I love it, it's just the rims that I don't like and the only way I can say it is to be straight up about it.
  22. What are you trying to interface exactly? That piece you posted looks exactly like the interface from PAC (C2A-GM24) to add subs to a factory radio.
  23. Let me try to decipher what you attempted to say.......... First of all since you did this conversion your SSS IS NOT AWD anymore right? So your non AWD SSS lays frame right? So what are you talking about? Hey, I'm done if you are. Like Jon said, not everyone will like what you have done. I love that you have a bagged SSS, I personally just don't like the rims, that's all. It's your truck and as long as your happy, that's all that matters.
