  1. I've recently sold my '04 SSS and had a few parts laying around the garage. I replaced the stock intake assy with a Volant setup with around 10000 miles on the odo. Everything is in great shape and the original stock air filter is still in there. Make an offer, I've got no use for it and don't want to screw around with Ebay. Shipping should be around 20 bucks. Apparently, I've forgotten how to attach an image. So, let me know if you can't get there from the addy below. http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/buyfire/?action=view&current=1026111016.jpg
  2. Here's mine. http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/68565-04-ss-awd-for-sale/
  3. no problems here either, unless a constant kicking at the back of your seat is a problem. legroom leaves a little to be desired unless you don't mind your knees in the dash.
  4. you can't buy this car. they're strictly available as a lease with the option to buy @ the end of the term. supposedly, to keep investors from buying to re-sell @ huge markups and to make sure people are actually driving them, as opposed to parking. i thought i had read that there were only 3 of these cars in the US right now. regardless, i could find alot of better ways to blow $300K.
  5. I may have to have one when the quad cab version comes out. But I don't think you'll have anything to worry about till it's available with the new V8. A 6.2L around 425HP if I remember it right.
  6. you can't tell what happened before they came into camera view. but she's obviously taunting the cop in the video. maybe if she'd have just shut her yap, she would have had an easier time. i'm not giving the cop an excuse for what he did, but just saying.
  7. We just had another baby & my wifes A4 wouldn't hold a rear facing car seat alongside another booster seat. So we found a great deal on a '06 TBSS with low miles, the A4 has got to go. 2003 AUDI A4 1.8 turbo Quattro AWD 61000 miles Premium package Cold weather package Leather HID / Xenons auto leveling Moonroof Bose premium sound Sport 17" wheels / pirellis Just serviced $11,450 OBO Contact Eric @ 319-939-3924 here are a few pics. & here's what's filling the space now.

  9. i'd keep the cam mild if you choose to replace it. especially if you have thru hull exhaust that's not too far off the waterline. i've seen several times where coming off plane you can end up with water intrusion & bent internals if there's too much overlap in the valve opening/closing. also, 26P prop seems way extreme on a 20 footer with 300HP. is it an OB prop with a small diameter? my guess is that once you have the motor set up right you'll be looking at about a 21-22P prop.
  10. i saw a black SS 2 days ago. on the streets.
  11. I don't get to this site as much as i used to, but I'm also in waterloo. '04 black SS with Fireplace Creations decals on the rear door windows. Hope to see you around.
  12. if i remember it right, that's a towboat. saw it online about 6 months ago.
  13. as per leftlanenews.com last week................... the Z28 option has been killed. SS will be top dog.
  14. here's my town on tuesday 6/10. record breaking flooding, but not nearly as bad as it is right now about 60 miles south in Cedar Rapids & IA City. national guard dropped by to say hello.
  15. myspace is gay........................................ IMO.
  16. if your truck is even close to stock, you haven't touched a '99 or newer lightning.
  17. "i'm not gonna race uphill"...............................douche.
  18. care to elaborate on the mileage being better? it was my impression that E85 always netted lower fuel economy. is there something about an E85-only tune that allows more MPG than a flex tune? also, what happens if you travel to an area with no E85 availability, like Waterloo?
