So this is the escelade l-76 intake complete with injectors and t/b. Any idea on a part # ?

Whats the difference in the escalade intake? Is this the intake off the new body style escalade?The water pump seems like it needs to be changed for any intake swap though doesn't it.I just thought it might be easier than the fast 90 since it seemed like it was a royal p.i.t.a and it was supposed to flow beter.

i'm really interested in doing the l92-l76 swap because I keep reading so much about it but have been waiting for someone else to tackle it first so I can get some feedback on gains and ease of the swap.I keep hearing the L76 intake will outflow the fast 90mm and the L92 heads are the best bang for the buck head ever and the two of them are a direct bolt on but have yet to see anyone do it. Anyone interested?

I was reading in the new GM High Tech Performance that GM is selling the stock L92 heads off the new 403 hp 6.2 for 350 bucks each complete. They are also offering the L76 intake with 90mm throttle body,40lb injectors and fuel rail for under $500. That sounds like some affordable HP gains! I wanted to know if anyone has done the swap or is planning to do it. If not maybe I'll be first!

I think it should be a close race since he's got the 4wd and youv'e got the 5.3,but as for him saying he's whipping up on SSS's with the little bit of mod's he's got,I say . Unless he's hiding a bottle!

From what I've read your time seems right on for a 2wd.Now if we knew what kind of drivetrain the one he wants to race is we could give him a better response.

I had to have a "fast" of my own and ended up winning 2 on ebay. These things go for anywhere up to 300+ because of limited availability.It made my truck "feel" faster right away. He's a pretty cool co-pilot. This one is new in the box with all the literature. Will sell for 125 shipped to anyone with a SSS.

I wouldn't want someone working on my truck who was afraid to put a good whipping on it,why do you think we mod these?To stare and oooh and aaah? No!So we can do the same thing when we get it home,beat it unmercifully.If I get zippy to do my cam I hope he beats the crap out of my truck and comes back grinning ear to ear! Because then I'll know it's all good.Plus I'm sure he has insurance !

Are you 2wd or 4wd?

I think some of us are missing some information,the humble bee comes in two styles-2wd and 4wd,and the 4wd seems to be about a second slower than the 2wd. I was on rumblebee.com and it seems the 2wd's are close to an SSS stock.My dad has a 4wd humble bee and I waste him bad-6-8 truck lenghts and I'm nearly stock.Race him and find out,you'll love it even if you lose!

I've seen a bone stock extended cab harley w/supercharger run 14.60 at the track I run at. Should be close if he's stock.

He should also do it for no charge.The only thing I paid was for shipping back to him, he paid shipping to me on each pcm I returned.I assumed this was a normal practice but I haven't delt with any other tuners so I am not sure.
