What do you mean , as far as set up, i'm running the gt-67. Is that what you where asking.

The presure drop is true, before the intercooler i was boosting ~7.5 pounds of boost. After the intercooler i could only do 6 pounds. Fortunatly for us turbo guys, i just had to turn up the wick on the boost controler and got my boost back. But the cooler intake charge makes good power so i just turn it up at the track, and keep it low in on the street. As far as turbo delay, full boost comes in at 3k rpms, so i didnt loose any delay or gained any turbo lag. I got it cheaper than the advertised price by a few hundred dollars. The only thing missing from my kit was the coolant hoses from the intercooler to the heat exchanger, and thats because when i bought the "kit" there was no kit yet. The shop gave me all the needed hardware minus the hoses. BTW, this is the company that is building the front mount ATA intercoolers for STS. When i was there, they had the first finished intercooler for the chevy/gmc trucks ready to ship back to STS.

It is the heat exchanger to the barrel intercooler that i run inline with the intake pipes. The system holds nearly two gallons of coolant. I just removed the pipe that goes under the passenger door, and the intercooler fit perfictly there. According to PWR, it is rated at 600 hp, so it should do well as it sits. Intercooler

I think you have the SS/Z28 backwards. The Z28 is supposed to be an all out handling car, at least teh original was, where as the SS is all about the muscle. but being that both engines would weigh the same give or take a few pounds, I guess it doesnt matter wich engine goes in which.

stock dog bones are about 8" long, drop dog bones are about 6" or depending on your drop, they will be 'your drop' shorter than 8"

i remember when i ran into a swarm of mating fly's. The truck was completly black from the front end. not only was it a pain to clean it, but all of the damn fly's started smelling pretty bad.

Pistons and rods, The pistons on the lq9 are flat top, where as the pistons on lq4 are dished. The rods on my truck are different from regular lq4 rods as well.

I thought the 4 represented 4 forward gears, the 40/60/80 represents the duty of the trans. such as 40 = light duty, in smaller cars, 60 medium duty, and 80 heavy duty. The T = transverse, and L = Longitudinal orientations.

I have done work for people that are low income, city or county pays me. And not all of them are illegal let alone Mexican, yet they do have one thing in common. The more they receive the more they want. I had one client tell me that, the county gave them an allowance of $20k, and wanted me to get $20k in just material to fix up his dump of a home. To the point that he wanted gold plated toilet seats, just to make sure that the full allowance was used up on his home. I had to explain to him that labor and overhead had to also be paid from that credit that teh county allowed for his home and that i was only allowed to performe the needed repairs to make his home habitable. (This is so that contractors dont abuse of the sytem also)

Thats why my boost gauge has a recal function and a warning light to tell me when im at close to full boost. Plus I do have it mounted in my A-pillar, makes it easy to track everything
