I don't know if it can be done with out reverting to the operating system of a truck that already has it enabled, in which case your truck would not run with the programing from a dmax. Also one must be carefull in which accessories to turn on, since common wiring harnesses are shared among different vehicles and similar features will do different things on different vehicles. An example is the shift light on the dash. In a manual trans car it controls the shift light but in an auto, it controls one of the shift solenoids.... so enableing it in an auto vehicle would cause havoc with the trans.

In your case I say chrome, since all of the other grills are chrome. but if you like black, I would black all the grills out. So either all chrome or all black but no mix and match. either way looks good

I think that the ballast should have the temp ratting. And If you do have a 5k and a 6k I will trade you cause I have that problem with a set off mine, I'm not useing them due to the fact that they look different, but I would use them again if I had a matching set.

Just go for tunning softwere like HPTuners or EFILive. There are plenty of people who will be willing to help you get started. Plus they are way more versatille than a handheld, a will accomodate almost any mod that you can throw at it.

You are going to love it. I just finished installing mine on sat and love it. When the TC locks up it actually feels like the truck has a fifth gear. bad ass mod.

yup TBTC is nice, but a vigilante 3200 is great. I just finished going from the TBTC to the vigilante, and as soon as I get the p0785 code fixed, I will put up a little video of a 3200 7 PSI launch.

Yup, when I had the nelson tune, my PCM was locked. I had to ask him to unlock my PCM so that I could use EFILive.

I got it in group purchase that is going on. Its the goodmark cowlinduction hood. It must be the angle of the pic because a few people have the same hood.

Instead of making a new post I figure I would post this here... With the help from my brother, I finished installing my vigilante TC and I must say that it is a totally different feeling from the TB TC. It now feels like my truck has a fifth gear due to the TC lock up engaging, Just as a few members had commented. Also, 2nd gear doesn't hit as hard as it did with the TB TC. I only drove the truck for about 20 miles but so far I am very pleased with the results. The truck also feels smoother, but that could just be me.

If only Ca. was like that

I too do both, I have a Giant OCR Carbon2 with a few upgrades to the drive train for the road... I have taken that sucker to 56mph and a Raleigh Ram 3.0 for the mountain, cross country stuff, with upgraded suspension and drivetrain also.

Yup it happend to me, however, the belt decided to dissintegrate and wrap itself around the crank pulley. Of course it also messed up the front main seal, and caused all of my oil to spew out from there. This happend about two year ago now. The only reason why I noticed was because off all of the smoke coming from the oil hitting the exhaust cross over pipe. I wasn't running with the A/C at the time
